Watch the video for the unboxing of items. The rest of this review are my thoughts after a day of use.
First the charging station. As seen at the end of the video, it will hold 4 joy-cons and will charge them all. A red light on the joy-con poll will display while it is charging. A green light will display when charging has completed. There are two other USB-C male adapters. I'm not sure why, perhaps for an accessory I don't know about. There is an on/off switch on the charging station. The two extra joy-cons I bought seemed to charge a little slower, so I stuck them on the switch and they charged fine. I think this was an anomaly. The charging station is powered with the USB charging cable.
I don't spend much time on the play stand in the video. I don't plan on porting the switch around. To me, it's too expensive of an item to be a portable gaming device. And I didn't use it as I used the base station that came with the Switch.
The joy-con controller grips are nice. They all a user to grip the joy-con without cramping, too much. They are still small. This is why I gave 4 stars on the "Easy to Hold" feature. So if you have a medium to large hand size, it will still feel small. Nintendo seems to want its users to have fun, but not camp out in front of the TV. These grips will extend your play time, but it likely won't allow you to use it for a long time. Get outside! Play in the sun! Using these grips with Mario Party did help.
I failed to mention in the video that the wheels also have a plastic piece that will show the status indicator lights. The grips have the same feature and I did mention that in the video. It works well.
The stylus appears to also be a pen. But the thinness of the pen will make it difficult to use for very long. A rubber tip on one side will allow for drawing. Don't use the pen side!
The carrying case has 8 game card slots. As I mentioned before, I doubt I will buy that many games for it. I bought the Wii and 5 or 6 games. (I still play Guitar Hero and Rock Band - Beatles on it!) So, I have a LOT of game card carrying space and probably very little of it will be utilized. You may be different, so having a total of 36 slots will be good for you.
The one feature I think I would have liked is to have a lanyard attachment for the joy-con grips and, maybe, for the wheels.
I also haven't applied the screen protector. That takes a little bit of time, effort, and a clean space. I don't want to have pet fur get underneath the statically charged plastic! I will work on this later.
