I use it mainly to get rid of frizz and just make my hair nice and sleek and it does all of that plus more. It’s a great value for the price and the fact that it has auto shut off so I don’t have to worry every time I leave the house is a plus. I have very thick wavy hair. The straightener does a great job at straightening my hair on 400 or 440 degrees. I love the design of the iron- its so cute and the beveled edge makes curling and waves a breeze. My only complaint is that the clamp joint seems flimsy. The plates slide, but the wand itself doesn't stay parallel and slides off to the side about a quarter of an inch. That is frustrating.

So disappointed. Bought this in December 2022. Not even 6 months later it blew a fuse (on the lowest setting). I called Amazon and they said they couldn’t do anything, would have to call the company. It is still under warranty, but 2 emails and 2 phone calls later to the company, I have had no response. Basically have a broken flat iron and am out almost $200.
Did not expect this from Amazon.
