This is my 2nd Kurgo seat purchase over 5 years and I recommend them to everyone with small dogs. Secures your dog safely, great height to look out the window, easy to use and care for. I fold a bath towel in the bottom for a little extra cushion and height, and she loves to hit the road in it! The tether can also be removed for use if you ever have your pup out of the dog seat or need to comfort on your lap, (though be careful for the dangers of airbags since they can kill pets in accidents if you're holding them.) It's also handy because theres space underneath so you can still fit stuff on the seat- important for traveling. Over time, I had the bottom rear seam start to come undone, but it was still secure with the towel covering that spot. Also, when tightening the strap, don't pull your absolute hardest because over time that can cause the seam to fray. I gave 4 stars for installation only because it has to go on a single seat that can have the strap wrap around it, so not some sedan backseats. I've bought one for a friend, one for each car, and I definitely recommend it!

Best one in my opinion!
So first off I will say LOVE THIS BASKET AND YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED. I purchased this and another so I could test each out for my yorkie. This one hands down before even putting it in the car. This one had the pipping inside where it’ll stay secure the other looked like I could unattached it and wash it but I that made me feel uneasy if I were in an accident and it could break it and maybe harm one of us? And I much rather one safer than to be easily taking apart to wash. I can throw some soap on it and hit it with a hose.Molly didn’t really like being confined to the basket at first. But when we did test runs around the neighborhood with the window down she enjoyed it much better. She didn’t have to balance on my leg to put her head out and she seemed to look happier in it. After a 7 hour road trip to visit my family there was times where she would get antsy in it but that’s how she is, after a few rubs she curled up and laid down inside the basket. I will say the ONLY thing I didn’t like was the attachment to hook her to inside the basket didn’t really give her room to move around. I had to improvise and use her collar to extend it. But that’s an easy fix but also why I docked one starThe reason I finally got a basket for my 10lb yorkie is:I used to let my yorkie sit on my lap and I had a leash with her while she put her head out but after a hiking trip she fell asleep on my lap and I unfortunately did as well, (first wreck I ever had in my entire 20 years of driving) I hit an 18wheeler from behind that basically peeled my front wheel around and sent me spinning into the concrete median. All airbags deployed and thank god in my quickness I was able to push her down behind my legs so the airbag didn’t deploy on her. After we (also had my Doberman in the backseat) all walked away I never again wanted to endanger my baby like that. So with all that being said I wanted to get her the best and felt like what we would both wanted in this is what we got.Hope this helps you for your fur baby but I HIGHLY recommend buying an extra and you make the decision on your own. This one did come with a pad inside whereas the other didn’t.

I bought this car seat booster for my puppy as he goes with many everywhere and I need him to be safe. This car booster provides safety for him and keeps him close to me as well. He loves it and is very comfortable in it. He knows once I put him in it that we are going out. It is perfect for him and he weighs 8 lbs and still has lots of room. It is easy to set up and I recommend it for anyone that wants to protect their fur babies in the car.

I bought this Kurgo booster in September of 2022 for my 12 pound dog. I chose Kurgo because it is a well known pet safety brand. My dog goes to work with me 5 days a week and I need to keep her safe while we travel the 6 miles to and from work because we live in a college town with thousands of unexperienced, distracted teen drivers! I’ve been rear ended twice in 10 years and had my vehicle totaled once when hit by a texting teen driver. After 15 months the booster seat material is ripping at the seams. I’m just expected more longevity from this Kurgo product.
