They Fit my 17.5 inch calves and they are comfortable and easy to put on. I ordered the L / XL : Large / X-Large. I was reluctant after getting a different brand that said they fit 17+ inch calves and didn't but after reading the reviews on this and others saying they were 5'8 tall and 17+ inch calves I figured I'd try and I am so glad I did. I am almost 5'9 tall and they fit.

I like the style and the basic black. They are ribbed compression sleeves. They may look small when you pull them out of the package and you may be thinking "There is no way they are going to fit my calves" ... I know I was thinking the exact same thing but I tried them on and bang ... they fit. So don't trash talk them until you try them on.

I've noticed while wearing them they seem to keep my calves warm yet cool and they feel light weight but have a bit of a sweater feel. They fit perfectly from my ankle to knee even though they seem deceivingly small when you pull them out of the package. Overall extremely comfortable. It seems to have a perfect amount of compression - I think any tighter would be too tight. Also, it fits perfect around my ankles and just below my knee. They are not too tight in those areas which my previous pair from a different maker was way too tight around the ankle ... these are perfect.

I also injured my knee (ACL, LCL, Meniscus and got a dvt/blood clot) and had surgery last year ever since the accident & surgery my knee keeps swelling up but I've noticed since I've worn these leg sleeves my knee is not swelling as badly - very minimal if any. Awesome!

I am using these to replace an old pair for a previous blood clot / DVT and to help with circulation from other illnesses.

Highly Recommended especially if you have large calves which make it extremely hard to find a good pair that actually fits. Just do it ... buy it. Also currently these are the cheapest price on Amazon for a pair of Zensah sleeves. I paid $25.86 which is $15 off currently.

After taking an extensive hiatus (~4 years) from running I decided to resume my long lost passion. I was a bit overzealous starting out as I was caught up in how good it felt and found myself quickly adding on distance. I went from doing about 10 mi/wk to 40/wk in about a month and a half. You can imagine the expletives my 36 year old shins were shouting at me daily. They needed help mending so I could keep going out and doing what I had loved doing for so much of my life. I looked into the problem and found these sleeves. What was even better was that they're made in the USA! I decided to get two pairs. After placing my order, I waited...eagerly. Upon arrival (I'm currently overseas so they took about 3 weeks to reach me) I promptly put them on and took off for an easy 4 miler. They worked great from the first step. My shins felt better and I actually found my pace picking up a bit, too. That was 2 months ago now, and I still use them on four to five days a week on every run. I use one pair during a run, and one pair for recovery afterwards when necessary. One downside, and it's kind of a steep downside at that, is one of the four sleeves is tearing at the seem which connects the uppermost cuff to the body. I have to be very careful when both putting on and removing that sleeve. The others are still fine but I worry that within the next few months I may end up having to order another pair so I'll end up with five good sleeves, assuming the others hold up. But they do work and my shins have made it known to me how appreciative they are for these modern day miracles.

I severly injured the shin muscles in my left leg in 2005 by being a stupid runner. Overuse with no rest days, not properly stretching, not replacing my shoes as I should...

Physical therapy healed me as best as it could, but my shin would still bother me. I gave up running for good in 2008 and switched to "traditional machine" cardio (elliptical, rower, etc.) until last year, when I became tired of icing my leg every day and being in pain. Now I swim and usually don't have shin pain from my workouts. However, if I am on my feet for too long (I stand for a good portion of the day at my job) or go up and down hills or stairs (I lived on the third floor of my apartment building for the last two years; I moved to a ground floor unit two months ago) my shin let me know its displeasure.

I actually had been in slight pain daily ever since the move (I packed most of my things myself and carried many items up and down the steps) and decided to try these sleeves. Even though it's usually only my left leg that bothers me, I figured wearing one on my right leg won't hurt anything.

I've had them a week and WOW what a difference!! No more pain! I put them on after my swimming workout and wear them while I stretch, and then for the next half-hour as I drive home, put away my gym items, and drink my protein shake breakfast. I then put them back on again once I get to work.

I've noticed, first and foremost, my leg doesn't hurt anymore! These have helped more than Advil and ice therapy. I haven't even needed Advil or my ice canister since I've been wearing these. On top of that, my legs feel fresher, and I seem to have more energy and more spring to my step. I bought a second pair so I can keep one in my gym bag and one in my work tote.

They are very comfortable to wear, not hot or itchy at all. I barely even notice they are on. If anything, it feels like my legs are being gently massaged.

I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and wear a size 6 pant, but I have muscular legs. According to the size chart, I was on the border between the x-small/small and the small/medium. I ordered both, and the small/medium size fit, whereas the x-small/small would barely go over my foot and ankle. If you have muscular legs or are on the border between sizes, I would encourage you to go up a size.

If you have any type of shin pain, I highly recommend these! I wish I had discovered them in 2005. They could have saved me years of pain!
