They are cute, very comfortable and did not need any breaking in time. I walked an average of 20,000+ steps per day for a two week trip and my feet were happy the whole time!

    I do a lot of walking and standing. I prefer a negative heel such as kelso earth shoes, but they stopped making them and those shoes don't have the heel cushion I prefer to protect impact heel pain. The kelso earth negative heel is thier patent so I don't know of any other shoe makers that offer a negative heel. These shoes have a slightly higher heel than the toe pad and have a lot of impact cushion for the heel. They have reasonable arch support. Lots of room in the toe box. I like that they are real leather which will last a long time. They are as cute and fashionable as one can get while looking for this level of comfort and stability. Most other shoes in this category have a higher heel, but those put more strain on the arch. I think these are perfect for traveling and touring. They are not especially heavy or light but they do the job.

By far the most comfortable shoes to wear during the work day. I wear a size 9 and they are true to size. There is no stretch to them and they have a normal weight to them. The slip resistance is great and it's not too much that you are skidding the shoe all the time.
