Use and Care for Natural Aluminum
• Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm, soapy water.
• Dishwasher use is not advised as discoloration will occur due to the cleaning agents used in automatic dishwasher detergent. This discoloration is merely cosmetic and will not affect baking properties or safety of the pan.
• Natural aluminum pans work well with parchment paper, silicone baking mats, and also traditional butter or shortening and flour methods. When roasting savory foods such as vegetables, butter or cooking oil work well.
• Nylon, wood, or silicone utensils are recommended. Metal utensils and scouring pads may scratch natural aluminum pans, but will not affect baking performance
• Aluminum is reactive to acidic ingredients such as vinegar and tomato products. These foods may darken, pit or corrode the pan after prolonged use.

Nice pan but smaller than standard
The photo shows my old muffin tin on the left, and the Nordic Ware muffin tin on the right. As you can see, it is shorter than the standard muffin paper liner size, but appears to be the same diameter. I am curious to see if it will impact baking or not if using a liner, but I like that it doesn't contain any toxic nonstick chemicals and doesn't have any nooks and crannies where overflow batter can get stuck.

Perfect for countertop Breville oven

I’m surprise there is no Nordic logo on the pan but it feels and holds well like my other Nordic pans. It’s not so heavy but not flimsy at all, no warping so far. Since it’s not coated steel like most pans on the market, it won’t get rusted. There is NO seams around the cups so no crumb, food getting stuck in crevices. That makes easy clean up. A quick hand-wash (since it’s aluminum) is all it needs. I pop it back to the warm oven to dry the pan quicker.
I’m going to get another one when it’s on sales so I don't have to wait for the pan to cool down. You can’t go wrong with Nordic pans.
