I recently purchased the Homedics Humidifier, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The sleek, modern design fits seamlessly into my home, and it operates quietly—perfect for use while sleeping or working. The mist output is consistent, and the adjustable settings allow me to customize the humidity level to my liking. I also appreciate the large water tank, which means I don’t have to refill it constantly. I also love that it has a fuel feature of a planter.

Works and looks great

I purchased this humidifier when the entire family was struggling with colds and lingering coughs. We have it set up in our TV room and it’s been so nice to feel like we are breathing a bit easier with the moisture in the air. The fact that I can choose to add a small potted plant is an added bonus. My pothos has never been happier!

Yes, I recommend this product.

The Natura is great and easy to operate. I love that I can add my choice of essential oils to come through the mist and creates a peaceful space in my living room. To add a planter is a wonderful idea to combine an ultrasonic humidifier with nature and the light feature makes this experience nirvana.

Loving this humidifier!!

This humidifier is great! I love how I can use it as a small table. It's big enough to hold a cup but small enough that it's not in the way. It's definitely tough, my son has knocked it over a couple of times by accident and it keeps on working. It's nice and quiet, it's in my living room and I can barely hear it. I only have to refill it once a week. I'm loving it so far!

Great Clean Aesthetic & Versatility

My experience with this Homedics Top-Fill Humidifier has truly transformed my living space. Until I started using it, I had no idea just how beneficial a humidifier could be. This particular model, featuring a stylish planter accent on top that doubles as a table, is both functional and visually appealing. With a generous 1.3-gallon tank, this humidifier boasts an impressive run time of up to 60 hours, ensuring a consistent flow of refreshing humidity without frequent refills. I appreciate the versatility it offers—both warm and cool mist options make it perfect for any season, enhancing comfort year-round. Equipped with a user-friendly timer and temperature control, it gives me precise management over my indoor air quality. One of my favorite features is the dedicated slot for adding essential oils, allowing me to personalize my space with delightful scents. While it may be on the larger side compared to other humidifiers, I find that its size adds to its presence rather than detracts from it. The design is clean and modern, with a neutral color palette that seamlessly integrates into any room decor. The removable tabletop reveals a spacious planter beneath, which is a unique touch I haven't encountered before in a humidifier. This innovative feature not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also contributes to the overall ambiance of my space. It's a delightful blend of functionality and style, making this humidifier a true standout in my home.

Great product!! Minor user error issues

This humidifier has easy become one of my favorite things in my room!! I love how easy it was to set up and use but one complaint I had about it was how heavy the basin is when filling it from the faucet. However, this is easily solvable by filling it from the top!! Another complaint that could potentially be my fault is how weak the scent of my essential oil was after adding it to the humidifier. Overall this was a great product and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a gift or a small floor decoration!

Questions

1 - 6 of 6 Questions

Q: How do you get the oil tray to reopen? Before I loaded water it opened, now it doesn’t pop open when I push.

1 Answer

A: Sticky Oil Tray: Essential oil residue or adhesive from packaging can cause the tray to stick. Solution: Gently clean the tray and its slot using a soft cloth dampened with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. This helps dissolve any residue that may be causing the tray to stick.

Q: Is this built to reduce mold growth?

1 Answer

A: The Homedics Small Plant Humidifier (UHE-PL125) is primarily designed to add moisture to the air, helping to maintain a comfortable humidity level in your space. While it can improve air quality by preventing overly dry air, which can be conducive to respiratory irritation, it is not specifically built to reduce mold growth.

Q: What causes the red light meaning out of water to come on when it still has water in it??

1 Answer

A: If the red light indicating "out of water" on your Homedics Small Plant Humidifier (Model: UHE-PL125) comes on, even though there is still water in the tank, here are a few potential causes: 1. Water Level Sensor Issue: The water level sensor might be malfunctioning or blocked. If the sensor is dirty, clogged with mineral deposits, or misaligned, it may falsely detect that the tank is empty. Solution: Clean the water level sensor area with a soft cloth and make sure it's free from debris. 2. Water Tank Not Seated Properly: The water tank may not be properly seated on the base of the humidifier, preventing the sensor from detecting the water level correctly. Solution: Ensure that the water tank is positioned securely on the base and is aligned properly. 3. Mineral Buildup: Mineral deposits from hard water can accumulate around the float or sensor mechanism, leading to incorrect readings. Solution: Clean the water tank and base using a vinegar and water solution to dissolve any mineral buildup. 4. Float Mechanism Malfunction: The float mechanism, which regulates water flow, may be stuck or damaged, causing it to incorrectly signal that the tank is empty. Solution: Check the float for any damage or blockage. Gently move it to see if it's free to float.

Q: I like the reviews but after having many HoMedic humidifiers, the most important question is: how difficult is the cleaning process? If I could please find a Video of the process, I would buy one. Directions don’t answer my questions like a Video.

1 Answer

A: Thank you for your question about the Homedics Small Plant Humidifier (UHE-PL125)! We understand that cleaning is an important factor when choosing a humidifier, and we’re happy to help. The cleaning process for this humidifier is fairly straightforward, but we completely understand how a video demonstration would be more helpful. Typically, the cleaning involves rinsing the water tank with warm water and wiping down the base and mist nozzle with a soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, we recommend using a mild vinegar solution to remove any mineral buildup.
