Absolutely love this product. I unboxed the nodpod and put it over my face and within a millisecond I knew it was a good purchase. I was sooo excited to try it when I went to bed that night. It's only been two nights but I can tell you the nodpod changes everything! The weighted sections fit perfectly on my eyes, and also fit my husband - so I'm sure no matter your face shape, this will fit. It also doesn't smell like anything, which is a good thing! It feels like a super high quality product, and both fabrics are soft and cozy. The velvet side feels warm, and the cotton feels cool, just like promised! The design of this sleep mask is also top tier - I wasn't sure if it was going to stay on my head all night but even though I flip around often, it was easy to put right back into place and fall right back asleep. Overall, 100/10 product, and I'll recommend this to anyone who needs a sleep mask.

    I've been sleeping with various eye pillows and eye masks for many years now. They are essential to me being able to fall asleep and stay asleep. I've always prefered the weight of an eye pillow to a mask, but the issue has been I'm a side sleeper and eye pillows would never stay on my face. So I resorted to an eye mask. Not anymore! The Nodpod is the best of both worlds! It gives me the pressure I like with the dark effect I need, and it easily stays on as I sleep on my side. I don't wrap any part of it under my head or pull the side through the notch available. I just lay this thing on my head over my eyes, and feel cozy and calm and sleep happily. I never want to be without it again! And it's lightweight/small enough that traveling with it is not an issue. Totally worth it! I love my Nodpod!

    I only leave reviews for things that are exceptionally good or bad. And I had no plans to leave a review for this. But, six months later, here I am. I find I use it every day and I believe it helps me to fall asleep faster and sleep more soundly.

    I originally saw it on a Buzzfeed list and was intrigued. I am light sensitive - even with my eyes closed. I had tried other eye masks but the ones that go all of the way around the head usually have some sort of size adjustment mechanism that gets tangled in my hair and is a pain to get in and out of easily. And there were usually gaps around the edges that let in some light unless you get it just right and don't move.

    But the NodPod is soft fabric weighted with little pellets that flow into all of those gaps for complete darkness. I like that it can just rest on my head without being fastened all of the way around my head. If I need to get up, it comes off instantly by itself. It can, however, also be worn fastened around the head. There is a little hole in the fabric in one end that you can feed the cloth through on the other and - no mechanism to get tangled in my hair or irritate my scalp.

    There are 4 weighted segments. So if I sleep on my back, the ones next to my eyes cover my ears to also help to muffle sounds. If I sleep on my side, it still has the same effect. I just lay it over my head and the weights flow into the gaps and provide complete darkness and muffle sounds.

    I liked it so much I recently gifted one to my bestie and she loves it too. We smile at night knowing we are both enjoying our NodPods. I didn't expect it like it this much - but there you have it.

    The weight of this feels light at first but it really is the perfect weight for the eye area. It is super soft and good quality and helps me relax at night, in fact I haven’t slept without it since I bought it. But I wish this product was able to be microwaveable , I feel it would be next level if I could warm it up now that I’ve discovered that I love a weighted face mask. At a price point if 34 I feel like that should be an added feature. I also like the use of both fabrics on different sides that are both soft and I switch between the two. Also perfect for someone who doesn’t need a face mask to stay on all night but long enough to relax and fall asleep

    This thing is AMAZING! I bought it after reading the reviews because I had similar complaints about eye masks as other people: they get stuck in your hair, don't block all light and tight on your head. BUT NOT THIS NODPOD! I have never slept ssooo good and I'm a night shift nurse! It stays put on your face even if your a side sleeper and you don't have to tie on your head...but it has a loop for that if you are a crazy restless sleeper. The weighted beads inside are actually comforting on the face, they don't smash your eyelashes.
    It is velvet on one side and sateen on the other - I prefer the velvet side. The beads settle and ZERO light gets in. Fantastic! Ssoooo worth every penny! I'm going to buy a couple back up NodPods incase they stop making them....cause you know how that goes....you find something you absolutely love, you loose it (or your daughter steals it because she loves it too) then you cant find it to buy another one! Haha....getting back-ups of this marvelous little invention for sure.

    Actually worth the price! Shields from the light very well, surprisingly comfortable (I am a side sleeper), effortlessly adjustable & machine-washable (any temp, I put it in a protective net bag, hang to dry, does not pile!) I've had mine for 2-3 years and recently got one for my boyfriend's birthday. It is fantastic for naps & to calm down when feeling overwhelmed. I get headaches often and I don't know if it helps, but it doesn't make them worse, nor seem to cause them (and I'm very sensitive to anything constricting my head for too long, such as headphones.) It does seem like a high price for this kind of item, but it is very well crafted and will last for several years. I would buy it again and again, but it won't be necessary!
