Pleasantly surprised by quality and convenience
Despite my skepticism, this worked out great. I wish it were a little cheaper but after having used it, I’d rather pay for good quality and thickness that’s functional and practical, instead of something flimsy that’ll fall apart with the weight of a tablet and a water bottle. I expected the pockets to sag more once the tablet and water bottle were put in the pockets, but it didn’t sag that much. Only got 1 in case it failed to be useful, but I was pleasantly surprised. Just got another one in case we lose it, goes out of stock, or the quality goes downhill in future productions. Washed it in the washer in a mesh laundry bag, delicate cycle, air dried. Came out good as new. I got it for someone with food allergies. I put this cover on (after wiping down the tray table and the part of the seat that touches the tray table when it’s folded into its upright position). And pleased with how convenient it was to store the iPad, snacks, headphones, water bottle, etc. in the pockets, without having to dig into the seat pocket where people forget their garbage and crumbs that include allergens that can cause severe or fatal reactions. I recommend if you: have food allergies, are a germophobe, like to be organized everywhere including planes, are forgetful and have left something (a book, headphones, chargers, etc.) on a plane before. Also didn’t have to reach under the seat to retrieve our personal carry-on to grab something. Flight attendants didn’t say anything because the tray table latches and not much different than the airplane seat pocket that’s already there. It wasn’t a problem for us, but could potentially reduce the legroom in economy, if the passenger is tall and has longer legs.

I found this through a recommendation on a women’s travel page on Facebook. This did not disappoint! I travel frequently for work and have tried tons of gadgets but this is the real deal.
The way it works is you put the pocket over your tray table. When taking off and landing, you can still keep your tray table up with this attached. The fabric is sturdy but still thin enough to let you keep the table up.
When the table is up or down, the pockets are hanging behind the seat in front of you. I was worried the pockets might touch my legs but they stay close to the seat as shown in my photo.
The pockets can hold A LOT! I often bring a coffee or water on board with me and can’t fit it in the seat back pocket but I can definitely fit it in this with a ton of additional room for the rest of my stuff! I have also added my Bose headphones, my Kindle, my cell phone, crochet equipment, and more so that everything I think I may want on the plane is accessible.
The last thing I wanted was one more thing to drag around with me, but when you’re done with this is packs up SO SMALL! You won’t even realize you have it with you. My only fear is forgetting it on the plane after I land.
