On the fence, trying to get Healthy

I ve been using the Garmin vivo5 for about 6 weeks. It has some great features but I am not sure if the band is to ridged. The charge only last 2 days. The red light flickers all night long with no movement from me. And I'm not sure why. But I have to go through and try to set up the G. P. S to track walks everyday. Is there a band that you can suggest.

Much better than a huge watch, but lacking

I've had the Vivosmart 5 for over a year. It's ok, shortcomings: the button is hard to use- have to reboot every couple of months; very little personalization- treadmill is for running only; no more effort maps which was neat; and ugly plastic bands in ugly colors- no one makes neat aftermarket substitutes. It's a Garmin and the Connect app. I do like the size of the watch a lot. Love its connectivity to the app. Hoping Vivosmart 6 has better colors, better bands, better activity tracking (walk on a treadmill), and GPS so I don't have to carry my phone.

Love the features, especially the "Step" counter. Motivates one to move more. HOWEVER, when the watch was removed to charge, there was a HUGE bruise on my wrist!?!

I'm not a big fan of this one. It's not easy to use, not at all a fan of the interaction with the app. This watch has to be charged within 24 hours, so it's not able to be utilized as advertised. I have the settings for battery saving but it doesn't seem to help.

I like the Vivosmart 5 better than my fitbit however I wish the battery level was displayed in the app and I'm disappointed with the limited choices of bands available to choose from.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago and loved it. Then it started going crazy. The date was wrong, time went crazy. Couldn’t get it to go back to normal so I’m getting anxious one. Thank God

Worst thing about the watch is that while I'm wearing it to track my sleep, I somehow hit the music play button. Each night I get woken up at least once when my phone starts playing Pandora. Also the stair climber is useless, I walk the stairs of my building 4 times a day, that's 650ft in elevation and 47 flights of stairs, so 188 flights a day. I'm lucky if the watch records more than 10 flights of stairs climbed a day.

I have worn Garmin products for 10 years, Vivofit 1 and 4 previously. The Vivosmart 5 has incredible features. The performance stat VO2 Max tells you so much about the level of your heart/lung working in harmony. The health stats: sleep, respiration, stress, body battery and fitness age tell you so much about the working capacity of your body. I don't know how this little device can monitor and deliver such important information but I am thrilled that it does. At a routine exam last week, I told my doctor about it and he was quite impressed and said it was such good information to have about your body performance.

I received it a couple weeks ago, but the heart rate is not accurate. My husband's heart rate was 166, but the band said it was 72. We've tried it multiple times but it will not pick up the correct reading
