My 2nd Pixel in Spigen Liquid Air
Two years ago, I got Pixel 7 and cased it in Spigen Liquid Air for the first time. I was in love with the case and it was the best case I have ever owned. Fast forward to this week where I just upgraded my Pixel 7 to Pixel 9 Pro XL. I have to get another Liquid Air case, however, they do not make the same blue color any more. I am really not a big fan of black or gray cases, so I went with the abyss green. I was afraid that the green would be too "green", so I watched bunch of videos to make sure that the green is not too light. Turns out the abyss green is a really dark green and looks really good with my Hazel colored Pixel 9 Pro XL. The hazel color has a green hue and it shows on the camera bar which matches perfectly with the case color. The case feels very similar to my old Pixel 7 liquid air case. I love the liquid air line because it not sticky like other silicone type of cases. I can put and pull it out of my front pocket and not attract lint. I love the texture and just enough anti slip pattern. As long as Spigen kept making this line of cases, I will only be buying liquid air for all my future phones.

    It's a solid case. The green is muted and looks fine with the Obsidian color way. It fits really well and adds little in the way of bulk to the phone, which is nice. Despite being so thin it doesn't feel fragile or insubstantial; I haven't tried driving it on hard surfaces but I feel confident it will survive a drop from a few feet under most circumstances.

    The downsides are minimal but worth noting: the back readily accumulates oils from hands and it makes it look cheap. And the seams around the phone where it was assembled, in my unit at least, are very prominent and scratchy.

    But, for the money, it's definitely worth it to protect a device that would cost me $1,250 to replace.
