Just like my 90's 501's
I was nervous ordering these online since they aren't stretch jeans, but I wanted real denim, not stretchy denim. I am 5'3, 190# and ordered the 35 which is a 16. The length is just how I like jeans, the ends bend on top of my foot without being too long. They are not the most flattering on me, but that is because of my weight. I maybe could have gone down a size, especially after they relax, but the next size down is a 32 which would be too small. I am looking forward to the edges fraying and the natural fading on the knees and butt with wear, that's why i wanted real denim, which doesnt happen with jeans with stretch. Reminds me of the Levi's I used to wear in High School in the 90's.

    Do you know how hard it is to find jeans that fit properly, look good, and aren't made of spandex and polyester? It's hard, but these ones tick all the boxes. I absolutely LOVE these jeans. The only thing I'd be super careful with is making sure to wash them in cold water and air dry them rather then put them in the dryer. I did not listen to my mother and they shrank a bit. Still my favorite jeans though!

    My wife asked me to order her a pair of 501's because she had never owned a pair. Being from South America, these jeans were very expensive where she was raised. When I asked her what size I should order, she said a waist size 26. After she received them she explained the jeans were too big in the waist. Wow, a woman that errs on a waist size too big! She loves her first pair of 501's.

    Beware! Look closely at the picture. There is a painted, peeling silver stripe down the legs!! Dumb me bought 3 sizes thinking I could return the ones that didn't fit. However, when you return damaged items or items that do not fit, it goes against you. Hubby received an email saying his account was in jeopardy. So, I am stuck with them.

    So I do actually love the first pair of these jeans that I bought which was the Medium Indigo. They are soft and fit perfect. I loved them so much I ordered a second pair in a different color. I ordered "Lane Change" and they are stiff and super tight. I couldn't even pull them all the way up. I held them up to compare them to my indigo pair and the waist was a full inch smaller on the lane change color. I'm going to exchange them and go up a size to see if they will fit me like my first pair but it's really annoying that there is inconsistent sizing between colors.
