Is it just our home that experiences the trifecta with cords? It’s never just one cord that goes bad. At least once a year, 2-3 of our cords will stop working within 48 hours. 🫤😤 It’s like little gnomes come out at night and bite all of our cords.
I learned the only way to insure my kids not only do not steal my cords AND do not get temperamental because their phone died at the absolutely worst moment is to have charging stations with all cord types in every room.
I’ve installed the power strips with build in phone cord outlets in both USB and C-type beside every bed, couch, and in the kitchen. If you haven’t tried this, I highly recommend it to end the battles and aggrevation of laying down to sleep or driving down the road only to find your kid stole your cord again.
Anyways, Walmart has gotten delusional with their cord options, Walgreens is obscene, the best place to get them is Amazon. I keep a drawer in my room called “Stay Out-Moms Important Stuff”, and add these to an order now and again to keep them on hand.
One of my kids won’t stop pressing down on her phone as the charger is plugged in, so we have to have these kind with the 45 degree plug. I also won’t order less than an 8’ cord, as limiting where you can sit because of a cord length sucks. This pack of three 10’ cords is nicer than I expected!! They are both soft in texture and bend-ability, which doesn’t matter until it’s laying under your arm making you itch. There’s a bit of a shine to them and the colors are pretty.
The seller printed the bag with a nice little thank you on it for working with them. As long as they don’t die easily, I’ll come back for more!
