While it's great at keeping coffee warm and does a marginal job at keeping debris from your cup - honestly, the difference I saw between this and a $30 French press was not worth the exorbitant cost - it's main problem is that, if you buy the black coated stainless steel carafe, that black coating WILL begin to flake off. This will begin happening during normal use and washing and this will leave a mess wherever you take the carafe and make the thing ugly as sin.To add insult to injury, if you attempt to contact Espro via Amazon - they have no contact information on their website - you won't receive any response whatsoever.If you can get your hands on this thing around that $30 price point, then it's a fantastic value. But for what they charge, it's a miserable shame.

So despite the cost, I decided to get this Espro E6 French Press with double filter for Christmas. With family coming for the holidays, I needed a way to make more coffee. This Espro did not dissappoint! It made enough coffee for everyone, the coffee stayed hot and there was NO COFFEE MUD with the last cup of coffee. The double filter is a game changer for French Press coffee. And the stainless steel container looks good, cleans easily and keeps the coffee hot! Love it and highly recommend it.

    We have had this for just under 3 months and only use it on weekends. The pot itself is solid, very well insulated, looks good and is easy to clean. Unfortunately the filter baskets are very fragile - we have only hand washed them taking care to not puncture them but the mesh has still pulled apart from the plastic. Might be just a one off but on this basis I would not recommend the design.

    I like the richness and body in a cup of French press coffee, but don't like the sludge. I read about the Espro's unique double filter baskets in NYT Wirecutter and decide to retire my current aging French press and try the Espro. It definitely works as advertised; it makes excellent sludge-free coffee. It is a bit more difficult to clean because there are two baskets to wash and rinse, but they click on and off with ease, so it not objectionable. The stainless double-walled version that I purchased is also very attractive and keeps a full pot of coffee warm until it is finished. All in all, I am very pleased.

    This stainless French press makes much more sense than its glass counterparts. It's the same excellent double filter as the glass and far less fragile. There is NO slippery glass container that you need to remove to clean. While the price may be double the classic glass you will save the difference by not having to buy replacement glass containers. I speak from experience.

    It's true! The Espro P6 makes flavourful, delicious coffee that's free from grit. It keeps it warm long enough for me to enjoy my second cup, too.

    The ritual of making my coffee with this maker is very satisfying. And it's nice to know I don't have to worry about dropping it.

    Cleaning's a bit of effort. I use an old reusable filter to catch the grinds when I rinse it out. I definitely recommend giving the P6 a try if you care about good coffee.

    Mycket enkel att hantera och diska ren. Kaffet håller sig varmt länge tack vare termos kontruktionen. Jämfört med P7 är det bara handtaget som skiljer. Plast handtaget kanske inte är lika snyggt men det har ett bra grepp. Prisskillnaden är stor mellan P7 och P6, enligt mittt tycke inte värt det. Det dubbla filtret filtrerar mycket bra.
