So I’m borderline a type 2C hair. This is my hair pictured when it’s NOT at it’s worse untamed. So it was pretty mild for the picture. I will need to use this when it’s really crazy kinky and update this review. I used the hair straightener at max temperature capacity and probably took about 10 mins to straighten my hair fully. It did require going over strands twice and using a boar bristle brush while combing it at the same time. My hair did in fact look shinier so I will say that’s good and it did not become greasy after use. It added a nice luster to it. I like the hair straightener overall, but it’s pricey. It’s pretty looking. I love the pearlescent shimmer. Love the length of the cord and it feels durable too. Packaging is superb like most of the dry bar products I’ve had opportunity to try. Things I don’t care about or can be revamped in future model: I feel it’s rather noisy when you close it each time. Someone like myself that’s got Dog hearing I found it really annoying sounding! I wish there was a better display for temperature. Instead you need to remember which button will be for your hair type. So if you’re sharing this with your family with different hair types then may need to guess or look in a manual. For me I use max setting temp for all straighteners I used normally from 410-450. I honestly feel it’s 4-4.5 stars worth with those things above.

    I love this one. It is very easy to get a beautiful curl out of and doesn’t friz my hair .I purchased a few different high-end flat irons. None of them worked very well for me. Some of them worked very badly for me. I am not very good at doing hair, so I need all the help. I can get -need some thing easy.

    I thought the vibration would be sort of gimmicky. But what it does is help you to maintain even tension with every pass of the tool on your hair for more predictable and uniform results. Because you aren't having to go over sections repeatedly, your hair is exposed to less heat and damage. It's faster, better for your hair, and produces better results!

    The plates heat up quickly and evenly to avoid scorching and patchy results. Extra-long 9' cord. Universal voltage so can be used without a converter overseas. Auto shut-off. 2 year warranty.

    I do wish that you could see a numeric temperature instead of just lights to indicate the temperature, but the highest temperature is 450.

    The plates snagged my hair. I have fine hair but a lot of it. Overall it felt cheap. The vibrating function sounds cheap. It didn’t leave my hair smooth and was really hard to create waves with. Totally not worth the money. I sent it back.
