It's a good deal, especially for the price. My set had two larger spoons that had slight defects, which was a little irritating, but otherwise the set is a good economical choice. Care instructions do seem to inhibit dishwasher use, but as someone living in an older apartment with no dishwasher, I am not really affected. Mainly, care instructions seem to indicate that avoiding water-time as much as possible is encouraged, as well as anything acidic or containing chloride, which is the only other drawback I would consider with this set.They are sturdy enough, although not very heavy, but they are not flimsy or too thin either.They are basic, and yet stylish enough to be attractive, without being so styled that they would go with some dish-ware/decór and not others.Set is slightly different than pictured, in that it is not completely matte or brushed, (as I thought), but only the handles are slightly matte/brushed, and the upper parts, (where the food goes),are polished.

The best surprise, the Holiday Inn folks tell us, is no surprise. but I was pleasantly surprised by this stainless ware.

I bought stainless ware at Costco a few years ago, because we were going to have a picnic menu that called for something more substantial than disposable plastic sporks, and I wasn't really pleased with THAT purchase, because the ware easily bent when people put dirty dishes i the sink, or even just ate with them.

This set is considerably heavier, and they hold their shape nicely. hey have a graceful shape that allows you to focus on how the food tastes, instead of trying to put the shape back into forks that have flattened out or spoons that have bent back.

The spoons are a little larger than average, and the leading edge is rounder, instead of coming to a point. That works well for getting the last bit of yogurt out of the container, but it does present a minor problem when eating half a grapefruit,

All things considered, I'm extremely pleased with this stainless ware. It even has a nice design to the handles. I would suggest, however, that you buy two sets, because if you ever end up with five people for a meal, someone is going to be disappointed that they have to make do.

My son just got an apartment and didn't think to get any silverware! I came to Amazon because of the many choices available. I found this set and because my son is a man, he didn't want anything too "frilly" or "girlie". I got him this and he LOVES it! The silverware isn't too heavy or too light, just right. It is a regular size set, not continental or a mini set. I was not able to bend any of the utensils, even with some force. And I feel the price is just fine for the set with the Service Set included. It goes really well with his dishes and now he has people over for dinner and isn't embarassed about having a mix-n-match set!

This is the second time that we have bought this set of Silverware. We first bought a set to supplement the silverware that we had back in 2014. It's hard to believe that we have had our first set that long, but we have! It still looks just as good now as it did 6 years ago when we pulled it out of the box. That's why we chose to buy another set now that we needed to supplement our silverware set again. Attrition has worked on our silverware over the years, but we like the Chipotle, so we ordered it again. Like I said, it is durable and it retains its good looks over the years. I keep it in my SAVE FOR LATER list so that I don't have to hunt for it the next time that I want to buy it, which I'm sure I will. I highly recommend this silverware to anyone in the market for stainless steel flatware!

We got this silverware because we were moving into a new apartment and we weren't really bringing anything with us. What we wanted was a cheap pair of silverware, but not one that just rusted or bent the first times we used them.

Well these had such great reviews, and were affordable, so ewe decided to give the a shot.

First, the design - these are relatively "fancy" looking. Certainly not a bad thing, and it doesn't bother me at all, but they come off fancier than I thought they would.

Durability- we have had them a month now, and we run them through the dishwasher regularly. We have never had an issue, and they look just like the day we bought them.

Weight - weight was relatively important to me, because I think having a very light silverware set is cheap. These are spot on. They have a really nice weight to them, and they feel like much more expensive silverware.

All in all, I don't regret this purchase at all. There are cheaper options out there, but I like this design and weight, and based on the reviews I'm not going to have to worry every time I open the dishwasher that there will be rust on them so soon.

I looked at TONS of silverware before I committed to a purchase and I couldn't be happier with my choice! It's had very heavy use from my household for 7 months and and doesn't show a bit of ware. I was concerned that the different textures on the pieces would soon rub off but even after being tossed through the dishwasher and once even left in a dish being reheated in the oven all pieces are perfect. They are very beautiful and sturdy. Even the knives have a great balance! The best starter set I could've gotten!

I have been using these daily for several years now and LOVE them! None of them have any rust spots or significant wear and tear showing. I always put them through the dishwasher and they all seem fine. The different textures are still as they were when I first opened the box! I've had a few roommates come and go so a few pieces have gone missing and I plan on buying a new set soon to replace the lost ones.

Holy HUGE silverware, Batman! I was not expecting for this set to be sized so large. That said, I have only been using cheapo silverware for like, my whole life so maybe this is how it is supposed to be. But I really do not know for sure. The salad fork and teaspoon are about the size that I would expect typical pieces to be, but the soup spoon and dinner fork are absolutely gigantic! I would have taken the soup spoon as some kind of mixing or serving spoon before thinking that someone would actually use it to eat. I do not even think I can fit it into my mouth.

All of that is not to say that I am at all disappointed with this set. My husband is tall and has large hands and I think that he will appreciate the size of the larger pieces. I will just use the smaller ones. The design is simple and elegant and has a pleasing texture to it. All around the pieces are smooth and feel great in my hands, and they have a nice weight to them.

These are a nice addition to my dinette set. They are very sturdy, great quality, beautiful set. My husband liked what I purchased and told me to purchase another set.
