I love my vinyl and love my Blondie and Debbie Harry vinyl just a little bit more. The proud (or is it obsessed) owner of over 50 Blondie/DH records, including bootlegs, rarities and singles, so when this was announced on one hand, of course I was going to purchase, but on the other hand I'm sure I own most if not all of these recordings... How wrong I was. So many new (old) recordings/songs, that I'm hearing for the first time. Transporting me back to my youth, like I'm 14 again, just discovering the band. The whole package is very well done, only grazed over the book and have only listened to two of the records, but it's already a very welcome addition to the collection.

I'm a Blondie completist and have all their albums on the Chrysalis and more recent release with the bonus tracks but I really wanted to hear some of the bonus tracks that even I as a 30+ year collector have never heard. This was the right price! Blondie is a band!! And my favorite forever, this band defines who I am in a way. Get this, even if you already have everything as I do.

Great collection of the best of Blondie. This is the 3 cd set (I hope to one day get the full 8 cd set). Blondie was one of the hottest rock bands of the 70s-80s with the truly awesome vocals of Debbie Harry. It's great to relive some of that time with this music. Fans will not be disappointed.

this comes in at a great price if you are not going to spring for the big 8 lp box set and or IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A TURNTABLE and you still like the cd format like i do... I LIKE BOTH THE ANALOG & CD FORMATS but with this great release they did not give us that choice if you wanted all these great bonus tracks , demos and alterative takes, i feel this box set should have been 8 lps or 6 cd sets for those that wanted EVERYTHING.... anyway great stuff here, of coarse these 3 discs are loaded with some stuff that fans never heard before, the early pre 1976 demos are great and the different chris stein mixes are fantastic!!!! the french sunday girl version is great.. love some of the just basic studio goffing from way back when these sessions originally took place, this does indeed come in a high quality thick box set with a fantastic booklet!!! great interviews, liner notes & photos & most important the mastering on all 3 discs sound fantastic!!!!! any old blondie fan will LOVE THIS SET!! and i would think it will bring back great memories to some.... i am pretty much a fan of all of blondies stuff from 1976 to about 1980, i did not like the direction the band went in post 1980.. this 3 cd set works great for me as i have the great original albums from the 70s as japan imports on vinyl.. i still never got around to getting the 76 to 80 catlog with the bonus tracks from 21 years ago as i am still waiting for them to be released in japan in the SHM remaster format wich was supposed to be done 5 or 6 years back BUT was cancelled.... i am still holding out hope they will be UNCANCELLED as nobody is getting any younger here....... again THIS IS A VERY HIGH QUALITY SET and worth every penny.... great to hear some of this vintage studio stuff!!!!

I've been a blondie fan longer than I care to admit, and I chose the 3 CD set because I already have all their albums anyway. All the tracks in this set have been tacked on to their albums in the 8 CD set and deluxe vinyl set, so this set is basically a win for me because it meant that I don't have to buy their albums all over again.

So what's on these CDs? Basically three CDs consisting of demos, alternate takes and mixes. Is it worth getting? Well, if you're a very casual fan of the music, then I would say no. However, if you're interested in exploring more of the band and what they have to offer, then yes. I personally enjoyed this set. I especially liked hearing alternate takes on songs.

The packaging is also very nice - sort of a metallic grey/silver and black. The inner book is fantastic and really highlight's Blondie's career in-depth. I really like how the pockets housing the CDs aren't super tight. Too often on these kind of sets the pockets are very tight and you're fighting to get the discs out - not with this one.

This scores a 10/10 for me.

Als Blondie-Fan besitze ich die frühen Studio-Platten als LP- Erstpressung und die meisten auch noch als CD, unter anderem die Japan VÖs. Daher habe ich die kleinste Ausführung, also die 3 CD-Box mit den Raritäten als Ergänzung zu meiner Sammlung gekauft. Die Box ist so liebevoll und hochwertig gestaltet, der Preis von 40€ ist mehr als fair. Es gibt auch für den Fan viele unbekannte Sachen zu entdecken. Der Sound ist super, selbst die Demo-Titel sind in brillanter Qualität abgemischt. Die Box hat mich echt sehr positiv überrascht. Volle Kaufempfehlung!

Per gli amanti del gruppo, un cd triplo contente 36 inediti (provini, demo, ecc) e 16 rarità, alcune già pubblicate nella riedizione rimasterizzata in CD del 2001 dei rispettivi album. Alcuni demo sono trascurabili (soprattutto quello del terzo CD), altri più interessanti.
Ottima l'idea di fare questa pubblicazione in 3 cd, separata dalla versione estesa, la quale contiene tutti i 6 dischi pubblicati dal gruppo dal 1976 al 1982.
Corposo (più di 100 pagine) e ricco di foro il libretto allegato.

Lo primero que he de decir es que esta edición de 3 cd NO SE DISTRIBUYE en España. La compañía y tal vez las tiendas EN UNA DECISON LAMENTABLE Y DENIGRANTE, han decidido que los españoles pueden pagar 400€ por la edición completa en vinilo o 100€ por la versión reducida (también en vinilo), pero NO DEBEN TENER DERECHO a comprar la edición en CD que solo trae los 52 "bonus tracks" (que a la postre es sin duda la más interesante). Empieza a ser frecuente y por tanto OFENSIVO el hecho que determinadas versiones deluxe NO SE EDITEN EN ESPAÑA. Acaba de pasar con el triple CD de 80 canciones de BEACH BOYS y pasa ahora con BLONDIE. Agradecer a Amazon.es que nos traiga (pero con un precio más elevado al que se vende en Francia o Alemania) esta grabación (que se ha ido retrasando desde 2019 por unos u otros motivos) y EXIGIR que la distribución deje de considerar de nuevo que "África empieza en los Pirineos" y NO seamos tratados como un mercado residual.
De los 3 CD, decir que incluyen estupendas curiosidades, demos, versiones "maxi" y rarezas varias, con un sonido espectacular y que en este caso para no desmerecer sobre los que se inclinan por las versiones más caras, también incluye el formidable libro (aunque en CD luce menos)
