    feel misled, item seemed quality and reviews where generally positive but it was badly packaged—the glass is non tempered—it arrived shattered and the metal frame was not sturdy, some joints of structural integrity where not connected at all- the instructions came with a big “contact manufacturer if you have issues” flyer, (which i did) and they said “we cannot ship replacement glass to you, it will break” so.. a big hassle and a waste of time- GET ANYTHING ELSE !

    I had a little issue once I first got this open. There are 2 leg pieces for the shelf section and 2 for the keyboard tray section and they are not interchangable. The problem was, I recieved 3 legs for the shelf section and 1 leg for the tray section. I didn't bother contacting the manufacturer for a replacement part, instead I drilled my own hole in the leg where it needed to be.

    I repeat, the shelf and the tray sections can be on either side but not both on the same side! For me it makes more sense to put my monitors up on the shelf and have the keyboard below. This is not an option because of the way it is mounted. But with drilling out the legs (need a good drill and bit to attempt this) I was able to mod it the way I wanted.

    Pros:
    -easy to assemble if you are happy with tray on one side shelf on the other
    -comes with all the tools needed accept a phillips screwdriver
    -looks great in my office space and way better than laminated chipboard desks
    Cons:
    -Needed to be modified to meet my needs.
    -Because of the glass top it will expose lots of wiring, I had to use some creative techniques to hide mine.
    -Glass will need to be cleaned a lot more than my previous laminate wood desk

    I really wish this was more sturdy, but for now it'll work. The style is what we were looking for, clear straight lines. I have a PC on it and the whole desk shakes when I type. But for me, we won't have heavy use, so we'll keep it. If you're looking for something study, keep searching.

    I'll start off by saying the instructions to building this desk are terrible. Not only that when I revived my desk the box was badly damaged and wrapped in bubble wrap. After I had built the desk and opened the glass a peice was broken. I contacted the manufacture and I was forced to dig threw the broken glass to tell them what peice was missing. I have yet to hear back from the company.
    Don't buy this desk. There are plenty others on amazon, so keep looking.

    Went together okay. Looks good. Design has one flaw: the keyboard drawer is attached to the desk with 4 separate pieces so it doesn't stay square and, further, it is attached with sheet metal screws from above so tear-through could happen under a light momentary load.
