If you want a better chino, sometimes you have to design it yourself…and that’s exactly what Todd did here, pulling together the key elements of the classic chinos he’s known, worn, loved and lost. The fabric, which is imported from Japan’s famed Kuroki Mill and made on traditional shuttle looms, recreates the dry-yet-soft feel of a vintage military khaki. The details are inspired by a pair of old-school wide-legged pants found by our designers, which makes for a perfect modern take on a classic.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CHINOS

These chinos are by far the best I have ever worn. For quite some time I have been in search of a pair with wider legs and a higher rise than can normally found. The quality of the Japanese twill selvedge fabric is unsurpassed. Substantial, yet luxuriously casual. Pair them with anything. Dressed up or dressed down, they look great. I was so satisfied with this pair that a purchased another pair in Khaki and a pair in olive green.

Good Idea. Not the right fit.

I was so looking forward a new wide leg chino. Feels like the right time. Love the idea of wearing these with classic Stan Smiths and a short sleeved sweater this summer. But alas, the waste is too high and the rise too deep. If I wear this so that it doesn't sag in the seat, I have to bring the waste over my belly button, which is just six inches from my arm pit. Not a good look. To Urkel, if you know what I mean. I tried to tell myself it was Cary Grant, from the 50's ... But the mirror told a different story. Urkel. Let me know if these ever get a shorter rise/ lower waist. It's time for wide leg! Not for Urkel. Returning.

Vintage perfection!

Love the old school look, fit, and feel! It’s like stepping back into the 40’s when you pull these on…My gramps would be proud! Love that this style is coming back! Just need these in charcoal gray!!!

A True Classic!

I had been searching for a classic pair of khakis when I ran across these from Todd Snyder. A true "vintage-style" cut with a higher waist, wider leg and a stunning "drape" similar to those dating back to the 1940's. Add the selvedge fabric which is of a quality well beyond any I have seen and these are sure to hold up for many years to come.

I ordered a 32x32 and the fit is perfect with a longer length suitable for cuffing to create a more casual look.

Definitely worth the investment and I will be back for a few additional colors to add to the wardrobe.

My Go-To Chinos

Personally, I find these chinos extremely easy to wear either cuffed twice in hotter weather or not at all in cooler months/depending on footwear. Two completely different looks in one pair of pants. Relaxed fit but not parachute baggy.
