I have bleach blonde hair, and am 1/2 asian, meaning it takes a good 5-6 bleaches to get my hair light enough to tone white. Usually I have to settle for some form of yellow in it, which bums me out. Although there are many anti-brassiness products on the market for blonde or highlighted hair, none so far have come close to knocking brassiness on its a**. This shampoo is so full of color, that 1. it does do the job WELL, 2. i'm afraid of using the matching conditioner because i wasn't aiming for lavender hair, and 3. I'm just realizing that it's a little expensive so maybe I should use a regular shampoo and not this one every single day. I can use whatever other brand shampoo some days but use this when the hair is starting to look like it needs a tone boost. 4. Its arguably stronger than a toner, which is usually bad for your hair when it contains ammonia or peroxide. When EVER possible, with bleached hair you should use deposit only toners (which is where manic panic's virgin snow comes in). But sometimes toners just make it worse not to mention damage the hair. The only sad part is if you use a lot of products and need a deep cleaning shampoo, dont waste this on that purpose.
The other great part is if you don't want the shampoo, the conditioner works just as well, AND conditions badly bleached hair. AND is not so permanent that it doesnt fade in several days. So, for versatility, not harming the hair (when your other option is a toner), and the fact that they put plenty of color in this product I give it 5 stars.
