Better than the CE Ferulic for my skin

I was using the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic serum for many months and liked the results, but when I was going to purchase another one, I decided to first look into the different vitamin C serums that SkinCeuticals had to offer, and I am so glad that I did. I have oily / sensitive / acne-prone skin and although the CE Ferulic was great, I saw that it was better for dry skin and the Silymarin one would be better for my type of skin. Since my skin is sensitive and I don't struggle with active acne, I was a little nervous that the added salicylic acid would be too irritating, but after using the Silymarin CF for some weeks, I find that it doesn't irritate my skin and I like that does not feel too heavy on my skin like the CE Ferulic did. I do also have some hyperpigmentation on my skin, am I am curious how the phloretin would work for my skin as well. Still debating if I'll try that one after I finish the Silymarin bottle.

Works! Reduced blackheads

I’ve just finished my first bottle after switching from their Phloretin CF. I have oily skin and larger pores especially on my nose. While the Phloretin was great, I wanted to try the Silymarin to reduce clogging and the small blackheads you have to stay on top of. The Silymarin has provided very noticeable results. My skin isn’t nearly as oily at the end of the day, and a fraction of clogging I had in the past. Amazing!!

Very good serum

I like this serum a lot. I used to use the Skinceuticals 20% vitamin C for years but it was discontinued. Because of Skinceuticals recent enormous price increases, I decided to try a 15% from a different brand (rec by Lovely Skin personnel). I liked it, but it was not oil-free (per LovelySkin staff) and took a long time to absorb and I felt like I was never matte throughout the day, even with my primer. I decided to try this product next and paid a lot more, but I do like it better. I am almost 59 and still have oily skin and this product absorbs very quickly (like the 20% one did) and is oil-free, which is good for me. I do not have any stickiness or any shine during the day with this product. So I am going to stick with this one for now. I wish it came in a 20% strength because my skin can handle that level. Disappointed that SkinCeuticals eliminated so many of their great products and really raised the prices incredibly high. This is one product I will have to pay more for and thankfully LovelySkin always offers a discounted rate.

Amazing Acne serum
