As 4ohm speakers, these will put more of a load on AVRs and weak amps than many other speaker, but if you give them the power they're wanting?
Fantastic.
I powered mine originally with a Topping PA5 II, and then connected them to Fosi V3 mono blocks, and both make these sound fantastic. Also used a sub - these dig deep for bookshelves, but they are still bookshelf speakers. Paired with those, and the R3 Metas are very natural / neutral sounding speakers, very detailed, and very fun.
And on the point of accuracy - clean articulate bass is such a wonder, and even if these don't go down to 20Hz, the bass they do reproduce is such a pleasure to hear. Jazz and classical are often suggested to make these shine, but EDM and Lofi is just as fun. Tool is a good time on these speakers too. Good stuff.
FYI - there are bolt holes on the bottom for mounting (M8 sized bolts IIRC). If I had a complaint, it's that the speakers are tall and thin, and might be prone to being knocked over. I wouldn't want that to happen to nice speakers, but you can bolt these down, so no worries.

Metamaterial Absorption Technology
A truly revolutionary tool in the KEF acoustic armoury, Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) is a highly complex maze-like structure that eliminates unwanted sound from the rear of driver, resulting in a purer, more natural performance.
Metamaterials are specially developed structures that use existing materials in such a way that they exhibit new properties. MAT’s tuned channels absorb 99% of the unwanted sound from the rear of driver, compared to around 60% absorption from loudspeakers using different approaches.
12th generation Uni-Q
Uni-Q technology places the tweeter precisely at the acoustic centre of the bass/midrange cone, so both act together as a single point source to disperse sound more evenly throughout the room. The result is the elimination of the limited ‘sweet spot’, therefore allowing everybody sitting at different spots in the room to experience and enjoy the same natural, detailed sound.

Need to hear to believe.
I've been through 4 sets of speakers for my hifi set up in 2 years. This is my second pair of kef speakers. (I did buy these from my local hifi store.) My last pair was the ls50 metas, didn't like them. I decided to try these, and the difference couldn't be more obvious. Soundstage, imaging and clarity is improved dramatically. It's hard to describe what these can do. To top these you're looking at spending 3x times more at least. The price is a steal imo.UPDATE: 6 month review. After a 2-3 week break in period, these open up even more. They become even more airy and soundstage improves. They are perfectly neutral with my parasound amplifier. I run 160 watts to them, they handle it well. These are endgame speakers for me.
