Despite claiming "fragrance-free" on the front of the bottle and in their marketing, if you look at the details of the ingredients on the website it states "2,6-Dimethyl-7-Octen-2-ol; Commiphora Myrrha Oil; Dipropylene Glycol; Ethylene Brassylate; Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil: Skin Conditioner complex provides a light, gentle scent." Myrrh oil and geranium oil! Geranium oil in particular is known to be a common skin allergen. Why they would change the formula to add this irritant is beyond me.

I used this product for many years. It used to be truly frangrance free. When the company changed the formula over a year ago it is no longer frangrance free even though it says frangance free on the bottle. I have not purchased the product for over a year due to the frangrance it has.

I have always loved this product but I just bought the new formulation and it seems to be heavily fragranced (the “fragrance free” version). My skin is so sensitive that I can’t use this now. So sad that they changed the formulation.

This WAS very good body wash. The original had a light citrus smell and really helped with irritated skin. The “new” formula has a weird smell that was left on my skin afterwards. It also made me itch. I returned my bottles. I didn’t notice the “New Formula” label. Please bring back the original formula.

New formula is not fragrance free and is irritating to skin. Both my mom and I have used the Aveeno Fragrance Free Free Body Wash for years (over 10!) We are both sensitive to fragrances. We used the old formula for both body and had soap with no issues. The new formula has a strong scent and was irritating to the skin. Unfortunately we are on the search for a new body wash. Aveeno, wish you would bring back the old formula!

The “New Formula” is not fragrance free. It has a VERY strong smell. People that buy fragrance free products do it for a reason. Fragrance free = no smell. This product not only stinks but left me very itchy even after washing with a truly fragrance free product to get rid of the smell. I have used this product for decades but unfortunately after this I will no longer buy any Aveeno products. I would give this product negative stars if I could.

I have been using this body wash for years. It’s the one body wash that doesn’t irritate my skin. When the formula changed, I noticed it smelled different and was a completely different product. I can’t use it anymore due to irritation. I’m so dissapointed they would change the formula. I stocked up on as much as I can before it switched and now I need to find a new brand.

It’s great for my body, but I used it to wash my face and I look like a tomato! I know it’s the body wash because it’s only red on the parts that I used it on my face. No reaction on my body at all. Every time I used it on my face it burned a bit, but I left it on and it’s terrible!

This product makes my skin feel 1000x less dry, super duper soft, and moisturized for longer than any other brand. The coconut scent isn’t too strong of an odor! Will gladly buy this over and over again.

This stuff burns the skin, bad!!! Not really for sensitive skin. I used this all over my body this morning in the shower, and by the time I got out my neck was starting to itch and burn. I looked in the mirror, and there was a bright red rash all over my neck and face with bumps. Then my arms started itching and turning red. I had to go wash it off and put Eucerin cream on it to make it stop burning. One of the new ingredients is Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, which is Geranium Oil. Go look it up. It is not good for sensitive skin. I will never buy another Aveeno product again. This is a seriously bad product!!! It is in no way going to be good for sensitive skin.

I purchased this product a couple weeks ago to substitute my fragrance free body wash that was out of stock. I genuinely hate to give one star reviews on anything. However, some of this product got on my face and my face is extremely hot and red. I feel like it might damage my skin since it feels like an actual burn. I just hope no one else experiences this!!

This is fragrance-free so if you are very picky in the scent you have nothing to worry about. The texture is soft and really absorbs the dry skin well leaving it hydrated! The packaging is nice and very easy to pump giving you generous amount of product. It is effective especially when you experience itchiness on your skin. The value is kind of pricey but really worth it!

The new formula is horrible. It smells vaguely like big spray and is so irritating and drying. Major failure and will be switching to a different brand now. This was a staple for me but is completely ruined now
