This is an outstanding non-stick pan if you cook every day. I’ve yet to find a non-stick that will last indefinitely, but I’ve put several years on these. They’ve lasted longer than anything else I’ve tried. My first went about four years before I noticed the coating starting to come off. I have since imposed new family rules on any new Madura that comes into the house: hand wash only, no metal utensils in it, don’t use the scrubber side of the sponge and finally, the pan must be cool before pouring water into it. The pan really doesn’t need soaking. Provides even heating, but surface not totally flat. Whenever I use oil in it, I’ll usually have to rake it to the middle before adding food. Its non-stick properties, however, are simply fab. Eggs over easy! Finally!

Coating peeling after 8 months
This pan was used almost daily. It was never used in the oven, never put in the dishwasher, and never had metal utensils used in it even though the directions say you can do so. It was never cleaned with an inappropriate soap or scrubber. It was purchased 4/21/24 and this photo was taken 2/2/25. The pan works wonderfully while it lasts which is sadly not long enough for the money.
