Because of the curved shape, she still fit in the middle even if my husband sat with us.It's really no heavier than two bag chairs and is very sturdy.     We've had this chair just over a year. The cupholders are large, which I love. The chair is high quality and has held up to MANY sports games and practices. It's comfortable and sits up high making it easy to get in and out of. It's a tiny bit heavy, so we ended up padding the carry handle with a narrow pool noodle. Now, the bag has begun to fall apart, so we've had to throw it away, but all in all a great chair.
