Too small for big 🤕 heads
Thera-ice has the right idea but not the right application.I am a long time migraine suffer and ice has been my friend. I ordered this Theraice with great hopes. But if you have a larger than normal head, all it does is squeeze and pinch your already painful migraine head.The gel is not as thick as some ice packs, only about 1/4 inch thick. I would like to see it twice as thick. It does not stay cold for much longer than 20 to 30 minutes.Fortunately, I have Amazon prime and when I contacted them for a refund, they gave me a returnless refund. So I’ve had this ice pack hanging around since.I have recently been affected by a post surgical migraine, one of the worst that I have had in my life. I pulled out all of the ice packs that I have collected over the years, including this one, I just laid it on or under my head, but today the thought occurred to me to put a gusset in that would allow it to be larger and worn correctly.I have been sewing since I was eight years old, so this was an easy thing for me to do with extra fabric that I had laying around, certainly not something everyone could accomplish.I hope all of these thoughts will be helpful to someone else before they make this purchase.
