Great but quality might be an issue
The shoes are GREAT and fit super well - no blisters, rubbing, or pinching. However, after one wear, the elastic area ripped. At first, I thought it was just the elastic, but it is actually the leather alongside the seam. I have another pair of Frye boots that I LOVE and have had for almost 5 years that I've never had an issue with. I wish I was able to return or exchange them, but it's more of a cosmetic issue and doesn't affect the wear so I will see if I can mend on my own.I don't know if this is an isolated thing or if the seller on Amazon is different than the actual Frye website.

    These boots are a little tight, I tried them on with thicker socks (it's the ONLY socks I have right now to wear). They do need a breaking in period, but Frye boots are absolutely amazing! This leather is a little stiffer than my other Frye boots. But it will wear in, in time. Can't wait to wear these over the fall weather! And it was a great price to! You can't beat what I paid! I'm so happy I ordered these while I could before the price went back up. Love Frye!

    These boots are top quality, sturdy leather with a beautiful finish. I ordered my normal size 9 my feet aren’t considered wide, but when I got these and first put them on, they pinched my little toes, they felt a little narrow. So I used my shoe/boot stretcher on them both for 24 hours and now they are just right. I have worn them several times and the more I wear them the more they break in and the leather gets a little bit softer, so be patient when you first get them. These boots should last you your entire life! What I love about this model is they are shorter and have an inside zip so they’re easy on and off but they still have the harness. So glad I finally purchased these!

    Although these boots were so very nice and of excellent quality, they were too narrow. Comfort is key and we must have some wiggle room without giving up support. I would have loved to have kept them. I was so disappointed.

    I have several different types of Frye boots & shoes. The quality of these boots is not great. The leather is very stiff & hard. I ordered the size which was recommended by reviews. I couldn’t even get my foot in all the way. I then ordered a larger size 6 1/2, thinking they surely would fit. But I was unable to get them on. The boot was very heavy as well. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this style. I’m disappointed, but had to return them
