    This is a great raincoat. It just felt so right when I put it on. The fit is fantastic, it is very lightweight, and does not restrict my golf swing in any way.
    One of the first things I noticed is how it has a more tailored appearance. I have an older Gore-Tex raincoat that has been a great raincoat, but the body and arms are baggier. Especially the arms. The Galvin Green has a little bit of stretch, so that probably allows them to have a little slimmer fit. 
    The zipper is on the opposite side from what I am accustomed to, but that is a pretty minor annoyance. The zippers themselves are very sturdy. I also have another newer high dollar raincoat. While it has good zippers, the Galvin Green zippers are nicer. There are two side pockets that zip and are covered with a flap of material. Another feature that is new to me is that there are Velcro straps to adjust the chest size. The jacket fit well without being tightened, but I pulled it tight to check it out. While it was tighter around the chest, it still did not interfere with my swing. Not tightened was better for me, but if you were thinner and had excess material, this would be a nice feature.
    As far as size goes, I am 6'1" and 185 lbs. I ordered large and it is a great fit. They have one more interesting feature that I didn't notice, but my wife did. The waist of the Galvin Green is lower in the back than in the front. I put on my other newer jacket, and it was perfectly straight. I can see how being a little longer in back is a great feature, especially if you crouch down while it is raining.
    As you can tell, I love this coat. I am not sure I like it more than my other nice rain jacket, but I may. I definitely don't like the other one more than the Galvin Green. If the price doesn't deter you, you can buy with confidence. The quality and just the way it fits is definitely there. One other thing to mention. This jacket looks really great.

    This is indeed a very nice, light weight and stylish Gortex jacket. It can be folded up and stored in a bag and all the additional options to customize the fit are nice additions. I.E. the straps on either side of the torso which allow me to fit it tighter to my frame and just looks better than loosely hanging. I wore this in the SWFL rain for about 30 minutes and I stayed completely dry underneath. The seams are well done I think and it looks like it'll hold up for awhile so long as I take care.

    I was looking for a new raincoat and I know how good Gore-Tex garments are. This jacket has a great style and fits very well. I wear a Large in shirts, so I ordered this jacket in X-Large and it’s absolutely perfect. It’s very light weight but because of the Gore-Tex it keeps you warm and comfortable when outdoors. I don’t golf (I just liked the style) but I imagine it has the flexibility to wear while playing. The one thing I don’t like is it doesn’t have a top pocket for glasses or other items. It does have the traditional side pockets. All in all this is a nice, high quality sport jacket.

    I recently got this golf rain jacket for bad weather days on the course, and it has not disappointed! The GORE-TEX waterproofing keeps me dry and comfortable, even during heavy downpours. It's also easy to pack, making it a convenient addition to my golf bag. Highly recommend this jacket for any golfer looking for reliable protection against the rain!

    This jacket is surprisingly comfortable, and I recommend it without reservation. The zipper is in what is normally considered a female orientation with the pull on the left. It took me all of two iterations to get used to that. One thing to note: The sizing appears to run about a size small. I wanted one size larger to layer underneath it, but it fits perfectly with no room to spare. In all it is a high-quality rain jacket that also looks great when worn.

    This is a nice golf jacket. It's really lightweight and moves with me easily. I'm 6'1'; 175 and this is slightly longer in the sleves than I was expecting. Seams are taped on the inside. There are three pockets, all external. It does a great job stopping wind and I stayed dry in a light rain so it's good for staying dry. This is not going to work for winter and the lack of hood means you need a hat or umbrella.

    This new jacket is so nice. It is very comfortable and has adjustments at the chest and the waist to get the fit you want. It is made of polyamide and elastane. It is waterproof too, so it would be great to wear even when you are not so sure about the weather. The jacket is made very well and really does look great. It would be an awesome gift for ant golfer.
