Q: My milk frother doesn't heat up my milk, is there a secret? I run the frother on the side of my milk cup until the green light goes off, however my milk at times is barely even warm.

A: You can also warm it up in the microwave if you want it hotter and transfer it into your frother cup. I can get excellent microfoam with six oz but I take my time. You want to get a cyclone going.

Q: We just purchased this machine. Is anyone else having trouble twisting the portafilter into the center position? Mine has stopped quite a bit shy of center, and that was after some degree of force. I'd need a wrench or a hammer to get it centered.

A: It is a little tough but not to the extreme for me. I only have that issue if I am over filling the filter with coffee grounds.

A: Manual machine not automatic. I can make sure its pulling one or two oz, single or double. Some automatics are over or under and no way to recalibrate it. I haven't found automatic frother yet?

We purchased the EC260BK (manual espresso) on the 27th of December 2024 and decided to not use it until our kitchen reno finished the first week of March 2025. We set the machine up and...ice cold coffee. What to do? We chased down the warranty with DēLonghi only to be turned down! The serial # we have was made in 2024 and the warranty ended the last day of 2024 (ie 4 days after purchase). Seriously!! We queried whether hypothetically we set it up 1 Jan 2025... aaand were advised the warranty would have been over. Can you believe that! Worse than a best before date... So here we are...bought 27 Dec 2024, set it up 10 March 2025. It was in the box the whole time and DēLonghi turned their back on warranty from date of purchase. We do not have the reciept as it was lost during the reno of the kitchen. Without the receipt we can't go back to the store. However the store itself (WalMart) would not touch it as there is a 30 day window on their returns. Corporate shaft is always expected, but to foster profits so blatantly on consumer shoulders... for shame. We will never purchase a DēLonghi ever again and will caution all family, friends, co-workers, and all those we can reach on social media and cite this story. Buyer beware and our advice before purchasing anything is check the serial number to ascertain the date manufactured and then how this reflects on the warranty policy. Who knew that the warranty would be based on how long the espresso maker would sit on a shelf rather than its purchase date.

Bought it year ago and broke one month after warranty expired. The issue is AS00001509 Delonghi Supp Filter Holder+2slding Block Ec1&2 there are two plastic fittings that fail apart and machine is useless. Replacement part is not available in Canada, and cost almost one third of the machine itself.

Bought this machine in January 2024 and now it`s leaking water every time i make a coffee just above the portafilter on the right hand side. Have to put paper towels under the cup to absorb the water dripping down.

For the price, this is a hard to beat value. It is our second Delonghi espresso machine and we are very pleased. We have used it an average of four times a day for about five years and it works as well as the first day despite the fact that we only descaled it a couple times. Any issues we have had (espresso too watery, slow, etc.) have had to do with the coffee grounds. Once the burr grider was adjusted to either finer or coarser grounds and we adjust the tampering pressure and amount, problem solved. Different types of coffee might require those adjustments (grind and tamper) occasionally. We also bought a stainless steel tamper and do not use the plastic one, which makes a difference. Finally, every time we got a new machine, it takes at least a couple weeks or a month to get to know it and find your right spot. Ours never make perfect espresso the first time and this is true for all machines. About the leakage, the only times we notice slight water leakage is if preheating ir turning machine on without the portafilter and coffee already loaded; if you load and then turn on, no issues. I would buy it again. Arr

Unfortunately, I can not provide a review on the Stilosa Espresso Machine because this is the second time that I received the package with the product box damaged in the shipping. Since this is a wedding present and I cannot give this to the couple in this condition, I will have to return the item to Target for the second time. There is not any packaging material surrounding the Delonghi so it repeatedly gets damaged. Very disappointed.

I have bought 2 of these espresso machines over the past 4 years. The first one started to leak from the bottom so I tossed it and bought a new one thinking it was only a one time problem. My espresso machine, after a year is now not working. It is leaking from the top and will not make a cup of espresso!

Pros: I'm able to make a nice espresso/cappuccino relatively easily and easy to clean. Cons: The reliability is a serious problem. The machine leaks a lot of water out of the brewing area constantly - you always have to have a bowl under it when it's on. I notified Delonghi when it was under warranty and shared a video with them. To their credit, they promptly replaced it, but it didn't take long for the replacement to show exactly the same problem. The machine just isn't watertight and consistently makes a mess. I've reached out to their customer service, but as I'm no longer under warranty, I don't expect much. I'll update this if they do anything to address the ongoing problem.

I bought it first time, during the setup process, no water was pumping through. Probably, defective pump, as the steam was coming through. I exchanged it at a different store, and the same thing happened- pump is not pumping. Is there no quality control whatsoever at the manufacturing facility?

It works amazingly! You just need to know how to use it. I used to be a barista so I knew how to pull shots and froth the milk. If you’ve never used a machine like this you probably just need practice and technique. Absolutely great machine had it for over a year so far. Still going strong. Can’t beat it for the price!

Have this awesome machine, Stilosa, about a year and we love it! Just today served a coffee to a friend today and they loved it and said they will buy the machine!! That’s pretty good. I placed the Portafilter in my dishwasher recently just once and it is very dull.🙁 still works though!
