I read a nice review on wirecutter so I ordered it. It’s too heavy for a pocket, and because both ends of the provided wire are usb-c, it is NOT compatible to charge iPhone or iPad out of the box, as the product description says. Instead you have to buy a separate usb-c to lightning converter to make it work. Disappointing. Should NOT say it is compatible with iPhone, unless you also say you need converter.

    I use my old iPhone 8 to run AllTrails when hiking. I bought this to replace another power bank. "Rufus" said that it would charge iPhone 8. Please, someone inform "Rufus" that he is the bearer of misinformation. It comes with only one cord and neither end has the right connection for my phone OR for my Macbook (which it also states that it charges). Of course, I waited longer than the return date to open it and discover this. Not happy.

    A YouTuber suggested this so I got it for a trip I'll be going on soon. I've used it a few times already and it seems to work really well. It charges fast and only goes halfway down after it's fully charged a phone that had a significantly low battery. It doesn't get hot and I love the design. I'll just have to get an attachment for my mom's older phone since she doesn't have the same charger as we do.
