It’s easy to keep the cables from your TV and other devices out of sight but close at hand, as there are several cable outlets at the back of the TV bench.

The cable outlet at the back of the TV bench makes it easy to gather and organise all wires.

The combination of open and hidden storage makes it easy to keep remote controls and other TV accessories organised.

The drawer closes silently and softly, thanks to the integrated soft-closing function.

The surface is durable and easy to keep clean.

  • We recommend a TV bench to be a bit wider than the TV placed on it. This TV bench suits a TV up to 63 inches. You can choose a larger TV if it’s not heavier than the specified max load for the bench’s top.

    The top panel of the TV bench is intended for a TV with a maximum weight of 25 kg.

    Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home, sold separately.

    Two persons are needed for the assembly of this furniture.

Not fit for purpose and poor customer serviceAnonymous reviewerThough this unit looks nice it isn’t useable as a TV bench. It’s about 30cm too tall making any large TV placed onto it too high for a comfortable viewing angle. Additionally because of its height it makes it really difficult to wire any electronic devices placed on the shelves to the mains. Ikea’s customer service has also become incredibly poor, they no longer accept returns for assembled items like they used to and like all other furniture retailers. Their ‘365 days’ returns policy is very misleading and now we’re stuck with a unit that we can’t use. Would not recommend and will shop elsewhere from now on.1

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
