The water bottle works great. It keeps water chilled rather well.
If you're in it to save some plastic, great! It'll last you a long time. If this is your 5th one, I think it defeats the purpose of being "green." But that's a different conversation.
How cold does it stay? Long enough. If you want it to stay cold 12-24 hours, that also defeats the purpose. Drink your water. Why do you need your water to be cold tomorrow? Drink your water today.
What I love about this compared to other bottles I've used before or seen:
