The material is soft, light, thin, durable, and dense. This is a nice sanitary layer for the yoga mat or for a baby diaper-changing or play area. Although I like this product, since they are promoting it as a non-slip towel, I have to lower the rating to a 4 because it is slippery and not like a towel. My feet slip right out from under me doing the DOWNWARD DOG position on this sheet. The color is pretty. The touch is soft and nice. The length is long and narrow. If you fold the length in half and center it on the yoga mat for your body to catch sweat and lay down, it's good for that. You can fold it up for a little extra padding under your knees or tail bone.
