Came to me broken
The product came with no protective wrapping inside the box and the letters inside the book had become completely unglued so it wasn’t even a book anymore, it was in two pieces. I needed this for a Christmas gift for a friend that is leaving to go over seas and I don’t have time to send it back for a replacement so I will try to see if I can fix it. Very disappointing. The letters inside look like I expected so that’s good, but would not have bought this if it was going to come to me broken.

There are many prompts inside, such as "Open when you need motivation" or "Open when you are making a big decision". It was a really amazing process to write all of the letters themselves, and what a great concept from the creators, to be able to give words of love and care from a distance, for someone to open in the future when they need it the most.

    The Open When book has been a great gift for a loved one, and as I fill it out I’ve also had the opportunity to reflect on my relationship with this person. Functionally, I think it could be improved - it’s annoying to write on the letter because you have to find some thin yet hard surface to put behind the paper in order to support it. I do think some of the prompts are repetitive, and wish there were more custom ones. Overall though, I think the images and stickers that come with the book are cute and will be appreciated.
