How can I estimate the number of charges for my device?

To estimate charging cycles, use this formula:

(Power Bank Capacity × 0.6) ÷ Device Battery Capacity ≈ Number of Charges. For example, a 5,000mAh power bank charging a 3,000mAh device would typically provide about 1 charge.
Why is my phone overheating?

It's normal for both the power bank and phone to heat up during wireless charging due to power loss. For safety, we recommend maintaining the power bank's temperature within 118°F (48℃), so you can use it with confidence.
Why does charging stop at 80%?

Your iPhone may automatically stop charging at 80% to protect its battery from overheating, as part of iOS 17's thermal management strategy. Charging will resume once the device cools down. Moving it to a cooler spot can help speed up this process.
How can I recharge the battery more efficiently, and is it compatible with Android phones?

For efficient recharge, use a 12W charger. The power bank supports 7.5W max wireless charging for iPhone 12 and later models. It’s not compatible with Android phones. Cases thicker than 2.5 mm and non-magnetic cases may reduce charging efficiency.

The capacity is okay, great for a night out but not that large for a day at Disney. UPDATE: Anker reached out to me and sent me a new charger. After spending some time with it, it was obvious that the previous charger was very much a lemon. My biggest issue was that it wouldn’t hold a charge when being stored. The new charger maintains its charge to where I’m comfortable about not worrying about it in an emergency. And I am able to fully charge my phone with it now. The magnetic hold is still just okay and it still gets a little too warm when charging the phone, imo, but I can deal with that. I appreciate the customer service that Anker provided.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: When it comes to charging my electronic devices, Anker is my go to brand. I’ve bought and used various products over the years with 100% satisfaction, but this one was less than stellar.

It looks nice, it’s not too heavy, the fold out kickstand is a great addition. Like other reviews mentioned, the magnet isn’t that strong and it gets hot when charging the phone. I have not been able to get a full phone charge out of it. And the charger doesn’t stay charged. After I use it, I charge it back up and put it away. When I pull it out, and I’m talking just a few days later, it’s dead. If my power goes out, I can’t count on the power pack to be working.

Maybe I have a defective pack. But because of its performance, I don’t recommend this product. As the title of my review says, it got 3 stars only because it’s an Anker and in general I have been happy with their products.

I had the previous version of this, where the charging cable was at the bottom, so you couldn't charge it with the phone on while it was on the stand. That was the worst part of that charger, it was annoying, but I loved that it had a strong magnet and worked well. So even when it got wet from me dropping the bag it was in in the ocean, and the charger wasn't working great anymore, I was on the lookout for the same one. Thankfully they redesigned the new one so the charging port is on the side, and now I can charge the batter bank, while using it as a stand for my phone. It's extremely useful and I'll even be able to get rid of my phone stand at work (which was just a phone stand, with no charging capabilities). The MagGo also charges my MagSafe capable AirPods Pro case, so It works on multiple levels. There are only 2 things that are not great. First, that it doesn't give my iPhone 12 Pro Max a full charge, but honestly to me it's just a way to give it some extra battery life since I'm notoriously forgetful about charging my phone... The second is that like others here, i wish the kickstand was just a bit more stable. The magnet on that side isn't very strong. If you're just going to use it as a stand, or not touch it while you're watching something, it's totally fine, but it doesn't take much to collapse it. Their 633 model has a better kickstand it seems, but I think it sacrifices the clean look of this model, so I guess it just matters what you care about. I still give this full stars overall because it's exactly what I was looking for, works as intended, and they fixed the previous issue. If I ever accidentally submerge this in the ocean also, I will probably get it again (maybe next update will be to make it more waterproof?).
