I used to put ground coffee in a tight container and store it in the fridge to slow down coffee oxidation which causes the taste to become rancid. However, condensation also affected the grinds and the coffee taste.
With Atmos, I can leave the grinds in a cool (but not cold place) and the ability to pump a lot of air out slows down oxidation and I get a much better espresso taste.
Caution: you must keep the edges of the body and of the filter of Atmos clear of coffee dust.

Great container could use an improvement.
It's a great container for beans, I think having a silicone grip at the top might make it easier and more comfortable to seal but idk if that would effect aesthetics or not.

Love the design, both visually and functionally. I find the medium size is perfect for me: I usually get 3 bags of coffee at a time, and I'll put two in the freezer. Then with the bag I'm using, I put about 2/3 in the atmos canister, and just use the bag for 3-4 days. Then I refill the bag from the canister when I need more beans- that way I don't have to open it every day and expose the beans to fresh air.
That may just be in my head- I haven't done any testing, but it seems to me that the whole point of using a vacuum canister is to keep the beans away from air.
The canister feels really premium and solid, the mechanism for removing air is easy and satisfying, and the finish is beautiful!

Optimum coffee bean storage
I had been using Airscape canisters but this is more effective in keeping coffee beans fresh even after 2 weeks. Plus it looks beautiful. Would go with the larger size. Easy to use to pump out all the air.

Definitely happy
Love it! It lives up to my expectations. Feels well built and the vacuum feature seems to work well. I filled up the large canister and it takes about 20-25 twists to set the seal. Definitely recommend.

Keeps my coffee fresh!
Be mindful of the size. I got the 0.7 L version, to not have to pump extra air most of the time. It barely fits the contents of a 340G bag. Other than that, the seal is tight and doesn't let air in even after a week.
