Hands down the best birdhouse camera out there! I’ve bought other brands and this one is simple, easy to use, they have an amazing app, and it’s more sleek and easier on the eye vs the other brands. It is a little more expensive but it’s worth it. I bought a stand with a little slinky wire to go up it so squirrels can’t get up it, and a birdseed pour container so you don’t need to take the house down to fill up. 10/10

enjoy watching the birds on the app and being able to monitor the charging and charging levels. The solar is working and charging. I first set up the feeder a couple feet too far so the internet was weak. When I moved it a bit closer it is now doing fine .
I did not join Premium membership (not needed or wanted). I also wish I could turn off viewing other people's Bird Buddies. I feel it violates their privacy. I always choose "Keep Mine Private" when I collect videos of the day. I wish I could ensure it was solely for me and no one could see my BB if I don't personally invite them.

i love seeing the close ups of birds and thieving squirrels. only downside is that the solar panel is on one side, so the feeder has to be positioned in a specific way to charge in the sun. in my case, this specific way is unfortunately with the camera directly pointed at my neighbors back door. i don't know how that makes them feel, but it makes me feel bad so i can’t imagine they feel any better. if the solar panel came on the other side or on both sides, i would like it more. i could’ve gotten the battery one but it’s been a year since i bought this so that ship has sailed

otherwise though, easy to mount and remove to refill. it survived through a hurricane when i forgot it outside. squirrels though- they always find a way. at least they’re cute when they show up on the camera

La mangeoire elle-meme est facile à installer, et les oiseaux de mon jardin ont immédiatement compris qu'elle était là pour eux. Evidemment la camera ne peut prendre en photo que les oiseaux qui viennent dans son champ, pas ceux qui préfèrent ramasser les graines tombées au sol. Les photos sont de belle qualité, les vidéos parfois présentent un brouillage vert au début mais permettent d'observer et d'entendre les oiseaux en action.
L'app associée à la camera identifie les oiseaux et fournit quelques informations sur leur habitat, nourriture, comportement (une question par jour pour le plan gratuit, illimité si on s'abonne).
Petits points négatifs à améliorer:
- le panneau solaire de rechargement ne fonctionne absolument pas, et il faut donc fréquemment recharger la camera.
- le remplissage de la mangeoire par une ouverture étroite n'est pas commode et on a du mal à ne pas renverser trop de graines.
- l'intelligence artificielle échoue souvent à reconnaitre des espèces d'oiseaux qui viennent constamment, comme les mésanges, ou les identifie de façon fantaisiste comme geai, pigeon ou moineau.
Dans l'ensemble ce produit est le meilleur (aussi le plus cher!) que j'aie essayé, d'autres mangeoires à camera incorporée supposées enregistrer photos et vidéos sur carte SD ont une très faible autonomie de batterie, il faudrait les démonter de leur emplacement et les recharger par cable USB tous les deux jours, ce qui est pénible pour moi et perturbant pour les oiseaux, elles me servent donc de mangeoires ordinaires. Et la qualité des deux ou trois photos obtenues était médiocre.
Je recommande donc BirgBuddy malgré ses défauts qui je l'espère seront corrigés.
