TLDR; cute colors, functional, and cheaper than others of similar quality. Leak “resistant”. It’s a keeper for me.
If you are looking for tumblers beside the Stanley, you are most likely looking for a better value proposition. Because you would’ve bought one already. AND like some of us, you also don’t want it to look and feel like it was $10 from walmart. This might be a good option. Good modern color offerings, different size options, design that’s not shameful to walk around with, and unique enough to stand out rather than trying to fit in, in the world of Stanley’s. The tumblers with the plastic handle design have come a long way in terms of other offerings not of the BRAND names. Quality is found even if they don’t cost nearly as much as the Stanley’s and the Hydroflasks. At my time of purchase the 40oz XL was $25. Which I consider good value. OXO is famous for improving usability of products, and having decent longevity around the kitchen. For this product, that improvement is the silicon straw top that slots well with the plastic bit in the cup. So it’s a two piece silicone&plastic straw situation. Time will tell if it goes loose but considering the brand has dealt with so much silicon based products it shouldn’t be an easy failure point. It really is leak “resistant”! NOT LEAK PROOF. When it tips over, it takes a second or two to start dripping very slowly. That’s enough reaction time for most people to save their laptop. It’s functional as it fits in a cupholder, and easy to hold just like all others with the same shape. But I think this one is a keeper.
