Love this product, BUT....
I absolutely LOVE this dry shampoo for my normal hair and for my human hair wigs. However, even though it smells extremely nice and fresh, the level of smell can be a little over powering and hit you in the face pretty strong. It's mainly due to the fact that A LOT sprays out at once just by barely pressing down the spray nozzle, and with this (not just because of the price) a little goes a long way. My boyfriend can't stand it. He thinks it smells horrible and doesn't like when I use it. After a couple minutes the strong smell calms down and it's much better, though. As far as taking away oils, I think it works extremely well for both my real hair and my human hair wigs in-between washes. Although this is an extremely pricey bottle for the size you get, it's definitely worth every penny! Plus, like I was lucky enough to come across this last time, it does tend to go on sale quite often. I highly recommend at least trying this once!!

    This is hands down, my favorite dry shampoo. I use it to give my hair some lift and texture both when it's freshly shampooed and also on the 2nd or 3rd day after a wash when it can start to get a little flat. I spray it at the roots before I style and it works like a charm. It is more pricey than many other dry shampoos but some things are just worth the extra expense and this is one of them

    I’ve bought this multiple times after seeing a recommendation by the blow dry professor on you tube. It is a good product but not my favorite. I feel like this leaves a buildup, I guess most dry shampoos do. It does get me an extra day between washes but my hair feels thick and producty the next day.

    I have tried most dry shampoos out there. Some are great, some good, some middle of the road, and some just plain awful. I held off on trying this one because I have a couple of options I do really like and the price. However, when it went on sale and my goto dry shampoo was out of stock, I decided to try this one.

    This is just ok, middle of the road. I followed the directions, which is primarily the same for all dry shampoos. Initially, my hair looked great. It looked fresh, was still soft, and I was very happy with the results. There was more white cast than other dry shampoos out there, but running my fingers through my hair fixed that issue. My primary issue is the longevity. I typically can go 2 days with one treatment of my usual brand. The Living Proof one did not even last 8 hours. I had to reapply the dry shampoo. Then when I got home that evening, approximately 4 hours later, it looked like I didn't apply any dry shampoo and was greasier looking than before I applied it the first time. The next morning my hair looked like I hadn't washed it in weeks, when in reality it had only been 4 days. It does work great for a short time, but to keep up that freshness, I'd have reapply several times a day, which is ridiculous and defeats the purpose. I also see that as a waste of product and much more expensive than other options out there. My usual one is almost half the price of this one and is awesome.

    Cons:
    Doesn't last long
    Makes hair look worse after it "wears off"
    Have to reapply often
    Very pricey

    Ultimately, this is not worth the money or hype. For reference, I have beach wavy type hair that is on the finer side. My hair holds products very well.
