They fit securely and have elastic gore that allows for a more customized fit. Our own Pinnacle Wool insoles provide the known and trusted PowerStep shape which enhances alignment, arch support, and comfort. The heel tab on the back allows for easy on/off. The upper of the ArchWear™ Twin-Gore Slippers for men is made of a stylish, durable microfiber featuring elastic panels for easy slip-on wear, and lined with soft, faux shearling. The signature PowerStep arch shape cradles the arch and heel, providing that extra support your foot lacks when wearing unsupported footwear. The built-in arch support and heel cradle add stability and motion control to limit excess stress on feet, ankles, joints, and tendons. The ArchWear Twin-Gore Slippers are lightweight to help reduce fatigue and feature a non-slip tread for better traction on wet or slippery surfaces. With a soft, comfy feel of fleece and arch support, the ArchWear Twin-Gore Slippers are a great option when staying indoors, but can also be used outside. FOR THE MOST COMFORTABLE FIT For first time PowerStep users or if you are new to orthotic shoes, a break-in period may be required. They seemed warm, sturdy, supportive and very comfortable, but they run short and were not going to work for him. Unfortunately, 13 is the biggest size they have, so I had to return and move on to something else.

    Really wish they were sized correctly and had and/or had one more size, as they looked like they would have been great.

    I recommend not buying these slippers. I got them for my husband and he very much disliked them because the arch was abnormally high. Also, the overall shoe did not fit well, there were gaps where the shoe needed to by hugged to the foot. The material felt cheap also. Unfortunately we could not find one thing we liked about these slippers. Try the brand that rhymes with metchers…… hubby is now on his second pair which I should have just bought to begin with.

    So the main story on these is they got "soiled" to the point I should pitch them, but I took a chance & put them in the wash with the colors, dried all in normal (aka high) heat, & they came out great. Insoles were in tact just like new.
    As to the "ideas" below, they may be a wee bit expensive, size/fit are great, & I'd say order the next size up if you're a ".5" like me, didn't throw my arch support at all. Yes, comfy, look great, especially coming out of the washer/dryer, & no, not very heavy, real deal house slippers.
