Just what I needed.

This jacket exceeded my expectations. As someone who’s 5'5" with an aesthetic build, finding clothes that fit well is already a challenge — and jackets are even harder. But the XS size nailed it. It fits snugly to the body without going past my waist, which helps avoid making me look shorter than I already am. Style-wise, it looks great — versatile enough to wear on most occasions — and it’s become my go-to jacket for winter. As a smaller guy, I also appreciate that it layers well without looking bulky. Warmth-wise, it's surprisingly effective. I can comfortably wear it without layering down to -15°C (no wind, low humidity). Below that, it starts getting cold. On the other hand, in temperatures above 0–5°C, it can actually feel too warm. The only downside is the fabric — it's quite fragile. If you have pets or plan to use it daily, you need to be extremely careful. It can easily get tiny holes or scratches from even light contact with rough surfaces. Still, I’m giving it 5 stars — the fit, look, and warmth make it totally worth it.

Horrible jacket after you washed it never again

Jacket is good until you washed it,company won't take responsibility for it ,even after I send it to their repair shop,still the insulation is missing

Down insulation clumps whenever it gets wet and can make the jacket look like it lost insulation. That being said, this means the down is still humid and needs more time on the dryer to come back to its original state. I wish there was a Cerium LT or SL

I purchased the Cerium hoody as a compact, lightweight jacket for bike packing. However, is it VERY warm. Arguably too warm for summer nights in the mountains (I would love a Cerium LT or SL). I ended-up wearing it as a winter jacket but compared to the Atom Hoody, I overheat in the Cerium constantly (I suspect due to the tight-knit fabric) which suggests it’s better for cold, static situations like belaying, winter breaks, etc. By comparison, the Atom hoody is equally warm and less likely to overheat in non-static situations, so it’s more versatile. Thus, your purchase decision should come down to compactness versus versatility.

A weak zipper and the lack of overlapping fabric to block the wind are major drawbacks. This jacket is not as good as my Thorium SV.

High price, low quality - rips and down loosing

Bought this jacket after owning different brands for years. Beautiful jacket but crazy bad quality for this price. A hole in the fabric without doing anything weird. Loosing down more than any other item I previously owned. Not happy at all. Customer service says it’s my own fault. Unfortunately would not recommend.

Driven by our obsessive attention to detail, we refined the design, sourced sustainable materials, and kept its exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio. Responsibly-sourced 850 fill down – with Coreloft™ synthetic utilized in areas prone to moisture – provides premium insulation. The outer – recycled 15D Arato™ nylon – is light and durable, a bio-derived liner reduces petroleum use, and an insulated StormHood™ extends protection.
