I have been using Sonicare for over thirty years. This is my third one as the batteries are not replaceable. My last two were white but this one is black. It was slightly cheaper than the white, perhaps the black is not selling as well. The 9300 has many features so you can customize the experience. When it is time for a new brush head (about 3 months) I would recommend an O E M replacement. The aftermarket ones are a lot less money but most are of poor quality.

    Make no mistake, your teeth will be cleaner than any regular toothbrush can accomplish. Sonicare has been on top of the electric toothbrush game for more than 30yrs. I was a bit skeptical at first to shell out that much money….bought my first one seven years ago. Twice daily or more use. Still going strong but the Bluetooth module failed a few weeks ago. I’ll happily spend the money for another one - and would never go back to regular toothbrushes.

    There is an option to really dial in your brushing disciple via guided brushing software. Being able to visualize your teeth is very rudimentary thing, but surprisingly useful paired with the pressure sensor lights on the brush.

    The only downside is that, like many companies today, Sonicare marketing team is out to harvest your data. Be aware there is an account creation required to fully use the toothbrush - but also know that it’s extremely easy to do and once you’ve made one you don’t have to interact with the software very much.

    You can just connect the toothbrush and hit Cancel every time you’re prompted to login to your Sonicare account. Sorry Sonicare, love the toothbrush but no data for you.

    I’ve toggled between manual toothbrush and electric toothbrushes for a decent amount of time however, I recently settled on the Philips One toothbrush. It was a nice step up from a manual toothbrush but this one… blows it out of the water!

    I recently purchased this toothbrush and honestly, I don’t know how/why I’ve gone so long without investing in a tool that I’ll use daily and has such a substantial effect on my quality of life.

    Pros: The vibrations are STRONG! They don’t hurt or anything but, they definitely make cheaper alternatives feel like a child’s toy.

    The toothbrush is rechargeable, no more fumbling through junk drawers scavenging two AA’s in an attempt to brush your teeth.

    There are about 4/5 different settings and some even utilize there own specific brush heads.

    There is a light around the base of the handle that lights up to inform you when/if you’re brushing too hard. With this toothbrush there is no need to vigorously scrub your teeth, just place it over your teeth and let this bad boy do all the work!

    You know that feeling when you leave the dentist after a cleaning and you keep rubbing your tongue along your teeth because they’re so polished and smooth? While not quite a replica of that feeling, this toothbrush can definitely come close to recreating that feeling daily!

    Cons: While not a major concern for me, I feel it’ll be benefited to share the fact that this bad boy can be a little loud. It is to be expected with a toothbrush this powerful so I don’t knock them for it but, I wanted to at least mention it.

    If you make the mistaking of wetting your brush head and turning on the toothbrush before it is in your mouth, expect a mess. The strength of this toothbrush will result in a mirror splattered with enough toothpaste to put a frat house bathroom to shame. That’s an exaggeration but, it will get everywhere if you turn it on before it’s in your mouth.

    Overall: This toothbrush is phenomenal! If you’re on the fence but can swing it, I say go for it, you’re investing in yourself. If this price point is too steep for you, definitely check out some less expensive electric toothbrushes, they still outperform manual ones. You teeth will thank you.

    I loved this toothbrush and treated it like my baby, cleaning it and taking great care to keep it running like new. About a week ago I went to brush my teeth and noticed it was making a horrible sound. I also noticed it wasn't vibrating/brushing like it usually does. Not sure how, but it seems like some connection either dislocated or broke inside of the toothbrush and now the motor isn't really connected to the piece that the brush head sits on, because now it sounds like a chainsaw and doesn't really vibrate at all anymore.
    Disappointing because the last sonicare toothbrush I owned lasted 4 years and I only replaced it to buy an upgraded version...

    I don't know how much you care for your smile, or how much you look forward to that smooth elegant glossy feel when running your tongue over your teeth but.....this toothbrush is amazing.     It was as powerful as some of my other brushes but then again, I noticed I associate power with loudness, this brush is so quite you think its not working hard. But then you push the brush hard onto you teeth and you realize there is no way you can slow it down without blowing a hole through you gums. I love the booklet and the app, it makes toothbrushing easy to track, critique and ultimately improve. The various brush head have a unique function and when applied the way intended its evident that all angles were considered in each brush design.

    The battery life is great, i can go a day or two without charging and use twice a day with no issue, then again, to charge it I just drop it back into the cup and it recharge begins. There are no shortcomings with this product, i love it and will never go to another toothbrush!
