This is the best way I've found to apply sunscreen to my scalp without making my long hair a greasy disaster. Lotion is okay for the part, but not the thinner areas around my hairline. Plus it's super easy to reapply. I use it to touch up my face sunscreen sometimes, but when I'm out in the sun a lot I prefer to just use my regular lotion sunscreen on my face.
If I use it super liberally (which is the only way to use sunscreen if we're being honest), the roots of my hair will feel like there's texture powder on it. That's pretty normal for any powder I apply to my hair, really. It's a non-issue for me.
Some reviews have said there's a shimmer. I don't notice one. I applied it very heavily to the back of my hand and only noticed a very, very slight shimmer when I used my camera flash to see if there was any. So I really don't think it should be an issue for anyone who wants to stay away from that.

I do not like to use sunscreen on my face and I like to reapply during the day so this is the perfect product for me. Super easy to use d everywhere you go. It’s a mineral sunscreen which is way better than the chemical ones. I thought maybe the powder would look unnatural on my face, set in my lines or clog my pores (like makeup does) but nope! The powder is very light and invisible and it makes my skin look nice actually. I do not wear any makeup on my face but I like this powder and I highly recommend it.
