Product Description

Mr Natty gets asked a lot of questions. “Should I use soap or shampoo on my beard?” is a favourite. It’s a conundrum: there’s skin! There’s hair! Both together! The answer? Use our Face Forest Soap (FFS). No man needs confusion in his life - especially in the shower. FFS takes care of both the skin and the beard. First of all, the olive oil in our FFS is high in antioxidants. These love a good ol’ tear up against the ‘age accelerating free radicals’ in your skin. Olive oil is the winner, keeping your skin hydrated and smooth. Aiding and abetting this is a bit of shea butter. It’s perfect for soothing and protecting dry skin (a common downside to being hirsute). A dash of peppermint oil adds a little livener to the whole process making you feel raring to go. FFS is gentle enough to use daily. Once you’ve towel dried your happy, hairy face don’t be shy; shower more Natty love upon it with some of our Famous Beard Elixir.

    Okay, I've never purchased a shampoo for my beard before. After doing some research I went with Mr. Natty. It was a good choice. It's smells good (kinda foresty and rich scented oil smell), lathers up very nice, and left my beard feeling soft and clean. I apply a little beard oil after, brush it with a beard brush and I'm set to go. Best no shave November yet. The only con (hence the 4 stars) is the packaging. It comes in a tin. Which looks cool but makes it difficult to get the bar of soap out when needed. I had I poke a knife in it to remove it the first few times. Other than that, it's a great.

    Really great.

    I was growing in my beard and it felt like someone took sandpaper to my face for a few hours. My skin was red and irritated. I tried some tea-tree conditioner on my face and it wasn't alleviating anything.

    After trying this stuff, it was like a breath of fresh air. Not only did it reduce the irritation, but it eliminated it all together. I had no issues with my beard since. If I stop using it for a few weeks it becomes apparent.

    One tin should last you quite a long while - especially if you only use this about once a week or so. I'd imagine it'd get you beyond a year.

    The substance inside is hard as a rock. I recommend holding it under the faucet while rubbing your hand on there to get it going easily (each use).

    Searched around for the best beardwash to get rid of my beardruff, hadn't had much luck. I eventually came across this gem and am never going to go without it. Within the first week the flakes are almost non-existant. Smells great, perfect for waking up in the morning.     *P.S. if you suffer from beardruff as well, make sure you use colder water when you're caring for your beard, makes a world of difference!

    The quality of the soap is good, but the packaging was clearly not thought through very well. The tin that it comes in is a tight fit for the soap. It comes out easily the first time, but once you put it back in, it adheres to the bottom of the tin and there's no room to get between the soap and tin to get the bar out. As others have mentioned, once the bar gets smaller it's more manageable. I also found if I rest the tin upside down, there's more clearance with the bar stuck to the lid as opposed to the bottom. The labeling should also be different as it flakes off in the shower. If the packaging were better, I would certainly give this a higher rating.
