I am a 36 year old father that loves to just play some bass in the small amount of downtime that I have, and have been looking for a headphone amp that I can plug into my iPad for Yousician and play with headphones. Holy crap this thing has delivered on that plus more. You literally just plug this into your guitar/bass, plug in headphones, plug in a usb cable to your ipad, phone, computer, whatever and you are done. Just make sure the input device is selected as Fender Mustang, then pair the Fender Mustang to the device via bluetooth so you have audio coming back through to your headphones, and you are done. 2 cables, no more spaghetti mess of cables to go from your PC, to audio interface, to amp, etc. And to top everything off, it sounds great going through different cabs for bass. Adding effects makes it even better, I play a MM Stingray and being able to easily adjust through different models and effects easily to find the tone I usually like was so easy. Price for this is incredible for what it can do. Now if I want to leave the house and just go chill at the park, listen to my favorite music to play with, or practice with Yousician I feel the freedom that I can without packing 13 different things with me.

Great jazz sound but easily knocked volume control
I am an amateur jazz guitarist. I have used the kithouse/lekato guitar headphone amp with a clean setting for years. They were a real game changer because of their bluetooth connection to my ipad playing ireal pro backing tracks. The only problem was the limited volume control range. In came this fender model. It is 3X the cost but the sound is great. Initially I used the 65 Deluxe with flat eq and effects bypassed. Now I am using studio preamp with flat eq. Sounds great but the volume can change unexpectedly when the control knocks against whatever. Fixed it by putting a hairband around it (see pic) but really - no one at Fender ever had this problem before signing off on the design? That is a 1 star ding. People complain about the lack of a display. In its place you hit the rocker switches and they turn colors depending on the choice. Not great because you have to have a cheat sheet around to see what the colors mean. For me, since I hardly ever change it, it has not been a problem.
