Not such a great kettle. The "keep warm" option just keeps boiling and it has a weird smell, which makes the water taste weird. Not worth the price, I liked my old Cuisinart better, it was easier to use and less expensive.

The touch pad is a nuisance. Whether one uses a soft touch or presses, it does not always come on. Save your money and buy a cheap hot water kettle. I thought this was a quality product.

Purchased as a gift. Just took it out and cleaned it and all appears to be new. However, after a brief flash of all the controls the unit has no power. I’ve followed all directions. It has water, connected properly, etc. The outlet works (I’ve checked it with a multimeter and also tried other appliances. Also tried a second outlet that works fine (new house). The unit is simply dead. Returning and not sure I want another one considering this is a higher end brand and a pricey item for what it does and it came out of the box dead.

Purchased 13 months ago. Excited when first received. It worked as it's expected. But only for about 1 year and then broke right after warranty. When it worked, it worked. Everything's fine. I actually quite enjoyed using it.

So far completely satisfied with the Kettle. Heats the water extremely fast within minutes. Gives multiple options for the temperature which i like. Love that the entire outside of the kettle is cool to the touch.

Thank you for your review and for your feedback. The outer housing becomes warm, however, with continuous back to back usage the housing will get hot. It should be considered that all people have a different perception of warmth. Therefore, caution is required when handling heated devices.

I have had this kettle 1 year but have used it for 9 months. It stopped working. The base lights up briefly then shuts off. Very frustrating since it was expensive and I had issues with delivery (they sent a blender instead) and I had to go through the hassle of packing up and returning the blender during a time that I was busy as a caregiver.

Cons: No cons, just suggestions: 1. With electronic base size, it would be nice to include current water temperature indicator, in addition to preset temperature blinking when the water is heating up. 2. It would be nice to have some other than white color choices of plastic components.
