Have issues syncing the device even when fully charged, nearby. I have rebooted devices and dis/reconnected, it still is not syncing unless I try multiple times and leave my phone with the app open while I wait.

Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app > tap the app to open it. 2. Swipe up and tap Restart Device. 3 Swipe up and tap Restart. If your device is unresponsive: 1. Connect your device to the charging cable. 2. Press and hold the buttons on your tracker for 10 seconds. 3. Release the buttons. The tracker has restarted when it vibrates and the Fitbit logo shows up. I bought this primarily to track my sleep, I read a lot about how this Fitbit is great at tracking sleep and pretty accurate. Unfortunately, it's wildly inaccurate, often being multiple hours off. I have insomnia and have gone entire nights without falling asleep, and yet, this Fitbit tells me I slept 5 hours, neatly distributed between light, deep, and REM sleep, and even gives me a high sleep score. I've had times where it's only tracked 4 hours of sleep, most of it restless, and this watch told me my sleep score was 80/100 and said I should have high daily readiness because I've gotten good sleep...

Adjust placement of device: wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight. 2. Turn on sensitive mode: our device will record nearly all movements as time spent restless or awake. This setting may be helpful if you wake up feeling tired even though your sleep history shows sufficient rest. Pretty useless. Bought the Fitbit to track my blood oxygen level and heart rate. I researched Fitbit for hours trying to find specifics. Specific information about how the Fitbit interacts with the accompanying app. I wanted to know do I get a configurable readout of the specific data sent to the app. For example, blood oxygen level every 5 minutes, or when it changes, sent to the app, so I can then view an entire night's duration. Same concept with the heartbeat. While all the descriptions indicate that oxygen levels and heart rate are monitored, nowhere does it state the actual provision of that data. Turns out, all it gives you is averages. For example average blood oxygen level for last night was 94. This doesn't tell you for example that you were 99% for 80% of the time and 90% for 20% of the time. The 90% indicating sleep apnea. This is entirely useless. Regarding heart rate, you can't have resting heart rate than exercise to attain a specific heart rate range. Then look at the app to see what your ranges were and whether you're reaching your goals.

This is my third Fitbit. Not because I love the brand so much, but because it keeps breaking and is the only affordable option. My first two lasted a little over a year and this most recent one didn't even make it a month. It's such poor quality. I do not recommend.

Read the Fitbit app reviews before buy this. Specifically the recent ones. Also know that if you are going to try it anyway the return policy is only 30 days, and that it likely won't even work as an unconnected pedometer if you miss the window. Hands down my biggest regret of 2024

I got this to be replace my Luxe. The Luxe was definitely better. The sleep function on this is not accurate, not even close. It has me sleeping while driving. Which I obviously wasn't. It has me sleeping while I wasn't even wearing the thing. Times when I was actually sleeping for hours at night, it didn't record me sleeping. If I sleep during the day it never catches that. It's set to sensitive for sleep so it should be working.

Poor build quality. Purchased for my mother for Christmas and about 18 months later, her case broke where the band connects. Her last one was the same problem and the screen died as well. These do not last and I am very disappointed in the build quality.
