Good Value and Easy to Install, not great sound.

There doesn't seem to be a way to connect using the HDMI and get sound out of the Bar and TV and the Sound Bar doesn't seem to offer more sound, just makes it a little louder. I was hoping to fill the room. I ended up connecting via BlueTooth which does give you the ability to continue playing sound out of the internal speakers. This was a better option. I also like that you can control the bar and TV sound using the TV remote and toggling back and forth. My only drawback is the range and fullness of the sound. The sub gives it a little extra base, but the bar sounds exactly like the tv, it just makes the sound about 25% louder. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Great value. Got it as a gift for the Mr. and he loves it. The bluetooth was easy to connect as well as the app. All remotes can be used to adjust the volume and the modes are fun to play with through the app.

Poor quality

No audio only works on bluetooth. Bad experience y have a samsung for 6 years without problem.

Q: QuestionCan you utilize tv volume on a Q7 TCL tv in tandem with this TCL soundbar? I know you can’t do both using the HDMI ARC option but I’m curious if using the optical input cord instead would allow me to use the soundbar without losing the TV audio.

- A:Answer Connecting via Optical should not disable the TV speakers. However, it is recommended to mute the TV audio when using Optical as using both may cause an audio echo. - A:Answer It is. Did you also adjust the input to ensure the soundbar displays? I’d think as your tv is Bluetooth compatible that would be another way to connect. You just hold down the Bluetooth button for it to display in your sound settings.
