      Combined with the wide variety of Ball lids, I use these for everything. First I can with them, small jars are perfect for herbs, pint jars for beans and sauce. There is a wooden jar with a rubber seal that is beautiful that pops on and off for snacks. There is also a screw jar for opened jars of sauce, or perishable snacks. Some people even put salads in them (haven't tried yet). A final thing I do with them is get a vacuum sealer, put dry spice rubs in them, and seal them by removing most of the air. They are super versatile and because I pressure can it is important to use the name brand cans.
