I bought this for my husband for Christmas less than a month ago and we are already harvesting from it! The hubby was skeptical and I didn't think he even liked it at first but now he's so excited about his lettuce, it's ridiculous. We just moved to the city, in a high rise condo and I know he misses taking care of a garden. Now he can garden away! I have a hydroponic garden at work and this one is so much better as the light is adjustable - which is a must as the plants grow. Also, you can bring the light down closer to the new pods so they seem to sprout much faster. I love hydroponic gardening and I love this system!

Would rather spend more money.
It is nice and all, but I feel I've bought an overpriced Apple product. Actually if it were that it would come with an air stone or something for your roots. There is just no way you're getting maximum oxygen needed for the roots. The thing works, don't get me wrong, and it's really nice to buy (the non aerogarden brand doesn't steal your money) cones and plugs (or just loosely shove some rockwool in the old cones like I just did for this beautiful purple bok choy)I just don't see it worth the dollar spent, for example with Keurig coffee makers (however you spell it) You spend 10 times the money per mg caffeine and per ml of coffee on those little weak watery cups of coffee, and the damn thing itself is a glorified coffee maker that costed $100-$250. That sounds just like a this product. If you're rich and you don't want to think much and just wanna make healthy plants appear in thin air, this is for you! (I'm definitely not rich, went and bought a pond fogger and a plastic tote and some net cups too because I want real, full-sized tomatoes and pepper plants.) Save yourself some money by spending just a little more money doing diy fogponics, + a nice light, thank me later.

I was skeptical at first but I did purchase on a promo and figured I would try it.
I had ordered a seed growing kit in the past and that was a major disappointment.
I LOVE this product and have even thought about getting another one that either holds more pods or one the same for a different variety to grow.
I enjoy having fresh herbs all year and this product does it. And it is effortless. Easy set up, water, plant food and tada.
The set I purchased was the salad kit, so that’s what is shown. I started it on 12/22/21 and I honestly have an abundance of greens.

Started my pods on Oct 2... Took the top photo on Oct 16. I'm a little disappointed one of my pods didn't sprout at all. But the 5 that did are growing into beautiful little salad babies! I can't wait for them to keep growing to make a yummy salad I grew all on my own!
Perfect for my ADHD because it reminds me to refill water or add food with blinky lights! The fact that it's growing so quickly makes it seem like a fun hobby that I'm actually successful at even though it takes very little effort.
Very pleased other than that 1 stubborn pod.
